Welcome to the Pickswise NFL Wild Card Weekend betting guide! The season is over for 18 NFL teams, but 14 remain to fight it out for the Vince Lombardi Trophy and 12 of them are in action this weekend. The Chiefs and Eagles are taking a well-earned break after securing the top seed in the AFC and NFC respectively, while the other 3 division winners host the 3 wild-card qualifiers in each conference over the next 3 days.
The action starts with a 2-game slate on Saturday as the Seahawks host the 49ers, led by rookie QB Brock Purdy, before the Chargers are road favorites for their trip to tackle the Jaguars.
Sunday brings us 3 more games, starting with the afternoon game between the Dolphins and Bills, with Buffalo a double-digit favorite for that one. Then it’s Giants vs Vikings in a repeat of a tight regular-season game from Christmas Eve, with the AFC North clash between the Ravens and Bengals on Sunday Night Football.
That leaves one game for Monday, and it’s the hard-t0-call NFC clash between the Cowboys and Buccaneers, led by Tom Brady, who has a certain amount of playoff experience to call on.
