Welcome to the Pickswise NFL Week 9 betting guide! The Philadelphia Eagles roll on relentlessly as the NFL’s only unbeaten team at 8-0 following Thursday’s win over the Texans, but some of the preseason favorites are not heading toward the middle of the regular season in such good shape.
Two such teams meet in Florida on Sunday, as the Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams take a 3-4 record to face Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who have their own issues at 3-5. Another disappointing NFC team, the Green Bay Packers, take a 4-game losing streak to Detroit, while Colts vs Patriots does not quite have the prestige it did when it was a Manning vs Brady showdown. Both teams could really use a win when they meet on Sunday.
Apart from Rams vs Bucs, Seahawks vs Cardinals is the only other late-afternoon game before the Titans face the Chiefs on Sunday Night Football.
