The opening weekend of the NCAA Tournament is almost behind us, but there is still another full day of action on Sunday. If you are searching for options other than spreads and totals, then player props are worth a look. Here are 3 player props I like on the second day of the Round of 32.

The college basketball team at Pickswise has you covered for all things March Madness. Be sure to check out our March Madness hub for team guides, game analysis, and best bets throughout the NCAA Tournament.

Jabari Smith over 2.5 threes made (-140)

Jabari Smith has as favorable matchup against Miami on Sunday, as the Hurricanes rank 235th in opposing 3-point rate. Smith leads the Tigers in 3-point percentage, connecting on over 43% of his perimeter shots, and will likely be the focal point of the offense against a Miami defense that ranks outside the top 125 per KenPom’s metrics. Smith has made at least 3 threes in 5 straight games and should continue that streak against the Hurricanes.

AJ Griffin over 12.5 points (-110)

Duke versus Michigan State has the highest total on Sunday, so I am expecting points in this contest. Griffin makes over 45% of his 3-point attempts, which ranks in the top 20 nationally among all players. He has taken an average of 7 3-point attempts per game in Duke’s last 3 games and should remain a constant treat against the Spartans, who let Davidson shoot 10-for-25 from the perimeter on Friday.

Tyrese Hunter over 1.5 threes made (+115)

Hunter has been more of a scoring threat from the perimeter in the last 4 games for the Cyclones, as he shot 11 threes against LSU on Friday and made 7 of them. While that 3-point rate and percentage is not likely to continue on Sunday, Hunter still should get enough shots from the perimeter to hit this over.
