I'm an NFL handicapper here at Pickswise who was raised in a household full of sports fanatics. Since I unfortunately never had LeBron James' jumping ability I wasn't able to make it to the NBA, and chose writing about sports as the next best thing. An avid sports bettor myself, I'm excited to get to write about the industry as it gets set to take off across the country. Buckle up. We have a huge slate in the NBA today, with a whopping 13 games. And what better way to celebrate than by going for a big payday on Wednesday? That’s right; we’re back with another mega parlay, NBA edition.

I think it’s safe to say we’re on a roll with these right now. In fact, I’ve cashed this NBA mega parlay two of the last three times I’ve written it. First I hit it at +1157 on Friday, and then I hit it on Sunday night at +1048. I’m looking to hit it for a third straight time personally, and three out of five overall for us here at Pickswise (we didn’t have one on Tuesday).

We’re going big and bold again, so let’s not waste any more time. But before we dive in, don’t forget to check out our free picks on the side and total for every NBA game today.

Charlotte Hornets ML (+162)

Memphis Grizzlies ML (+205)

Cleveland Cavaliers ML (-116)

Parlay odds: +1475

Let’s break down each of the legs one by one.

Charlotte Hornets ML (+162) over Boston Celtics

I’ve got Charlotte to start off this Wednesday mega parlay. The Hornets aren’t just hot right now, they’re sizzling. They’re 8-3 in their past 11 games, and have shown they can beat top competition. Their four most recent wins were at the Knicks in MSG, at the 76ers, and a pair of games against the Bucks. As such, I don’t think they’ll be fazed by playing on the road at Boston here.

Most of their highlights might come from the offense that LaMelo Ball generates, but their defense deserves credit too. In each of their last three wins they’ve held their opponent below 100 points. The Celtics have been a .500 team virtually the entire season, and most of their recent wins have come against bottom-feeders. They aren’t anything to be afraid of.

Memphis Grizzlies ML (+205) over Milwaukee Bucks

Speaking of teams that are hot, I’ll be taking the Grizzlies for the next leg of this parlay. Any time you have the opportunity to take better than 2/1 with a team that has won 12 of their past 13 games, it’s going to be hard to pass up. Memphis is playing with a lot of confidence, and they’re not going to be rattled by playing in Milwaukee. Just during this recent hot stretch they’ve already won at Phoenix, Brooklyn, Cleveland and both Los Angeles teams.

Ja Morant is having an MVP caliber season, while the Bucks are hardly playing their best basketball at the moment. Milwaukee is 2-6 in their last eight, and they just lost to a struggling Hawks team their last time out. They’re 14-8 at home overall, it’s not like they’re unbeatable. On the flip side, the Grizz have actually been road warriors, going 14-6 away from home.

Cleveland Cavaliers ML (-116) over Chicago Bulls

It wouldn’t be a mega parlay from me if we didn’t include the Cavaliers, right? The Cavs have come through for us as part of these time and time again, and I continue to feel like oddsmakers are underestimating them. Nobody in the national media is talking about them, but Cleveland is 23-8 this season when Jarrett Allen, Evan Mobley and Darius Garland all play. Mobley is the clear Rookie of the Year, Allen and Garland are both legit All-Stars, and they’ve got a bunch of other very good players.

They’re flying under the radar, but won’t be for long. Chicago isn’t close to being at full strength, as they’ll be without both Lonzo Ball and Zach LaVine for this one. The Cavs have the longest active winning streak in the NBA, and the best point differential in the Eastern Conference. It’s long past time for people to stop sleeping.
