It’s the battle of New York Part 4 as the Nets and Knicks square off one last time at Madison Square Garden this season. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 pm ET  on ESPN and I’ve prepared a same game parlay to make things a bit more interesting.

We also have predictions on the side and total for the rest of Wednesday’s 6-game slate, but let’s get into the Nets vs Knicks game first.

Brooklyn Nets 1-10 win margin (+170)

Kevin Durant to score 40+ points (+680)

Parlay odds: +1782

Brooklyn Nets 1-10 win margin (+170)

The Knicks and Nets have met 3 times this season and all 3 games went down to the wire, with Brooklyn winning by 2, 5 and 3 points. Tonight’s game should be no different, as the Knicks are in solid form with 5 wins in their last 7 games, while the Nets are in serious need of a win if they want to make a final push for that important 7th seed in the East. Brooklyn is also 8-2-1 ATS in its last 11 games on the road and the Nets have won on 4 of their last 5 visits to MSG. In head-to-head meetings they are on a 6-game win streak, so it’s pretty clear why they are the favorites to win. They have a couple of role players missing, which should derail them a little, but in the end they should pull it out in a close one.

Kevin Durant to score 40+ points (+680)

A game after lighting up the Atlanta Hawks for a career-high 55 points, Kevin Durant had just 18 against the Houston Rockets last night as he watched his good friend Kyrie Irving explode for 42. It feels like they are taking turns at scoring 40. It’s now KD’s turn to respond and what better place to do it than the world’s most famous arena?

He’s scored 40 in 2 of his last 4 games and in his last 10 he’s averaging 32.3 per game despite the 18 points last night which lowered his average. He’s shooting 52.2% from the field and 46.7% from downtown while making almost 94% of his free-throws during that stretch. Julius Randle will likely not play, so that’s one less big body for KD to worry about, which should open up the paint for him a little bit. Let’s hope he makes the most out of it.
