We have 6 games this Wednesday in the NBA, including an ESPN doubleheader starting at 7:30 pm ET with the Chicago Bulls battling the Charlotte Hornets. I’ve prepared a same game parlay for that matchup which you can find below.

Don’t forget to check our predictions on the side and total for the rest of Wednesday’s 6-game slate, but first off let’s dive into the Bulls vs Hornets matchup.

Zach LaVine to score 30+ points (+186)

LaMelo Ball over 7.5 assists (-120)

DeMar DeRozan over 0.5 made threes (+102)

Parlay odds: +1030

Zach LaVine to score 30+ points (+186)

LaVine is averaging 26.6 points per game on the road this season, which is 3.5 points more than he does in home games. He also attempts 19.8 field goals per game on the road compared to 16.7 per game at home, so Chicago could rely on him a bit more than usual in this game. He’s coming off a 32-point performance in the home loss against Phoenix where he made 4 threes. That was his 5th game in a row with at least 2 threes made.

Earlier in the season, LaVine had 25 points against the Hornets in a 14-point home win. In his last 3 visits to Charlotte, he is averaging 29 points per game, and that includes a 49-point explosion back in the 2019-20 season. If for some reason DeRozan’s shot isn’t falling here, the Bulls have the luxury of being able to go to their all-star shooting guard.

LaMelo Ball over 7.5 assists (-120)

LaMelo was just named into the NBA all-star game as a reserve and what better way to celebrate than with a big night against the Chicago Bulls? He has already had one big game against them this season back in late November with 18 points, 7 rebounds and a whopping 13 assists. That game finished 133-119 in favor of Chicago, and I have a feeling we could be in for a similar score in tonight’s game. As a result, we could see everyone’s stats being inflated.

In Ball’s last 7 games, he has gone over 7.5 assists 4 times, and he’s coming off a 9-assist night in the loss against Toronto. His team hasn’t been scoring all that well over their last 5 games, but I’m expecting that to change tonight and Ball to have at least 8 assists here.

DeMar DeRozan over 0.5 made threes (+102)

He doesn’t shoot them often, but the price on this bet is really appealing and I think it’s worth adding to this same game parlay. DeRozan’s percentage from three-point range is 29.4% over the past 9 games, but on the road that jumps up to 38.5% which is very respectable. He hasn’t hit one in his last 4 games, but prior to that he had a run of 4 games where he hit at least 1 in each of them. As such, it’s just a matter of time before he sinks one from downtown again.

Charlotte ranks only 23rd in the NBA when it comes to opponent three-point percentage, allowing 35.9% per game, and over their last 3 games, that number has jumped to 39.2%. They are also coming off a loss to Toronto where the Raptors made 42.9% of their shots from deep. DeRozan has a good chance of making at least one shot here.
