With 3 wins from 3 games, the LA Lakers have an opportunity to clinch the top spot in Group A of the NBA In-Season Tournament if they beat the Utah Jazz at home. They’ll attempt to do so tonight on TNT, starting from 10:00 pm ET. I’ve prepared a Jazz vs Lakers Same Game Parlay, which you can find below. There are 4 other In-Season Tournament games taking place tonight, and we have NBA predictions for them all. But for now, let’s get into my best SGP for this nightcap matchup.
Jordan Clarkson to score 30+ points (+390)
Austin Reaves over 1.5 threes (+140)
Same Game Parlay odds: +913
Jordan Clarkson to score 30+ points (+390)
Former Laker Jordan Clarkson has been a problem for opposing defenses in his last 5 games, averaging 29.6 points a night. Since he’s a volume shooter, one might assume he has just been chucking it up, but Clarkson has actually been very efficient during this stretch. He’s attempting 22 shots per game and converting on almost 51% of them. He’s also shooting close to 40% from three-point land (that number would have been a lot higher if it wasn’t for his 1-for-6 performance against Phoenix), so when you just look at the raw numbers this bet actually makes a lot of sense, especially since we’re getting it at +390 odds. In head-to-head games against the Lakers, Clarkson has put up 19, 20 and 22 points in the last 3 played, upping his production every single time. The Jazz will need maximum effort from their guys to stand a chance tonight, so I expect a lot of points here and for Clarkson to be leading the charge.

Austin Reaves over 1.5 threes (+140)
The Lakers too should do their part in contributing to a high-scoring game — that’s just how the Jazz play this season — and I’m looking at Austin Reaves to nail a couple of shots from deep. Reaves has slowly stabilized his production in the month of November, upping his points per game by 4.7 compared to October, while also shooting almost 17% better from the field and 15% better from beyond the arc. He’s cleared this line 6 times in his last 9 outings, which is also encouraging. Against the Jazz, Reaves finished with 28 and 12 points in the last 2 meetings, connecting on 4 and 3 threes respectively. Utah has been one of the worst teams in the league at defending the three-ball in their last 3 games, allowing teams to shoot 41.6%. I’m confident Reaves can take advantage here.
