We have a 7-game slate in the NBA on Tuesday, and it features a double-header on TNT that begins with Wizards vs Bucks before the Suns host the Nets. The Heat, Bulls, Nuggets, and Warriors are also taking the court.
Let’s take a look at today’s three-team mega parlay as we try to build momentum after cashing a +602 NBA parlay on Monday behind the Grizzlies, Celtics, and Raptors.
Miami Heat ML (+130)
Golden State Warriors -2.5 (-110)
Phoenix Suns -9.5 alternate spread (+150)
Parlay odds: +997
For this parlay we are going with two favorites against the spread – one on an alternate number – and one underdog on the money line. Let’s break down each of the three legs one by one.
Miami Heat ML over Toronto Raptors (+130)
This is a rematch of a triple-overtime game this past weekend, won by Toronto 124-120. Both teams are now playing the second leg of back-to-back situations. The Heat lost to Boston last night, but Jimmy Butler and P.J. Tucker did not play. Butler’s status is unknown for Tuesday at this point, but sitting out on Monday obviously gives him a better chance to play in the second leg of the B2B. Miami has covered the spread 11 times in the last 16 against Toronto beat Atlanta 106-100 on the road on Monday, but the Hawks were without Trae Young. The Raptors also went 18-for-36 from three-point range even though in general they aren’t a great shooting team. Some regression back to the norm can be expected. The Heat can win this one outright.

Golden State Warriors -2.5 over San Antonio Spurs (-110)
Stephen Curry closed out the month of January in the best possible way as he dropped 40 points on the Rockets last night in a 122-108 Golden State win. It was his first 40-point game of 2022. The Warriors are on a 6-game winning streak and have beaten their last 5 Western Conference opponents. Klay Thompson is expected to sit this one out due to rest, with Draymond Green already sidelined for some time now. Still, relying on Curry is never a bad thing. Plus the Dubs have All-Star Game starter Andrew Wiggins. San Antonio is just 5-14 SU over its last 19 games. The Spurs will most likely lose and not cover once again.

Phoenix Suns -9.5 alternate spread over Brooklyn Nets (+150)
The Nets fought hard but lost their last game at Golden State. That makes 4 losses in a row and with their lineup influx, they are turning into a team that you kind of need to stay away from until things stabilize. Kevin Durant is out and James Harden is questionable for this date with the league’s best team. Kyrie Irving scored 32 points in the most recent loss and they are leaning on him a lot in the games he actually does play.
The Suns are banged up, but it hasn’t cost them a game; they have won their last 10 and suffered just one loss in the month of January. This team is playing small right now with just a couple of limited veteran bigs on the roster. Cam Johnson is basically playing power forward, but the Suns are so sound in what they want to do they are still having success. Their backcourt duo of Devin Booker and Chris Paul is so steady and consistently excellent that they can lead the Suns to what should be a comfortable win.
