It feels good to be back. The new NBA season officially got started a few weeks ago, and we have another nice slate on Tuesday. What better way to celebrate the weekend than by going for a big payday? That’s right; we’re back with another mega parlay, NBA edition. We’re going big and bold again, so let’s not waste any more time.
But before we dive in, don’t forget to check out our free picks on the side and total for every NBA game.
Milwaukee Bucks -6 (-110)
Atlanta Hawks ML (+290)
Portland Trail Blazers ML (+120)
Parlay odds: +1538
Let’s break down each of the three legs one by one.
Milwaukee Bucks -6 (-110) over Philadelphia 76ers
To start this mega parlay off, I’m going with the Bucks in the early game. Philly isn’t just shorthanded; it is extremely shorthanded. Obviously the Sixers have been playing without Ben Simmons the whole season, and now they’re without all three of their top players. Joel Embiid and Tobias Harris both just entered the COVID-19 protocols and are out for this one. Matisse Thybulle is also still out. Those losses are just too much to overcome, and in their first game without anybody they mustered only 96 points in a loss to the Knicks.
The Bucks certainly haven’t been playing their best basketball lately, but this is a great get-right spot. Without Embiid protecting the rim, I don’t see how Philly is going to stop Giannis Antetokounmpo from scoring at the basket. In their most recent game, Andre Drummond played 38 minutes while Tyrese Maxey led the 76ers in shot attempts. That’s not a recipe for much success.
Atlanta Hawks ML (+290) over Utah Jazz
To give us the odds boost to truly make this a mega parlay, I have the Hawks on the money line. Atlanta has been a disappointment, but it has played a brutal schedule. Sure the Hawks have lost four games in a row, but look at who they played. The Warriors, Suns, Jazz and Nets. Four of the best teams in the league. Now is the time to buy low while you can, and this price is inflated.
Trae Young has started to shoot well again the past couple games, and they only lost by four to Phoenix on the road. The Jazz just lost to the lowly Magic, they certainly aren’t perfect. Right before that Utah lost to Miami. This is the second half of a back to back for the Hawks, but it’s the third game in four nights for the Jazz, so it’s not like they have a rest advantage. Nearly 3/1 is too good to pass up.
Portland Trail Blazers ML (+120) over Los Angeles Clippers
To wrap this mega parlay up and hopefully bring us home, I’m going with the Blazers. I continue to think this Clippers team is being overrated. Let’s take a look at their record. Los Angeles is 5-4 and has won four straight games, but when you dig into it, it looks a lot less impressive. Their four-game winning streak has come against the following teams. The Thunder, Timberwolves twice and Hornets.
Against both Oklahoma City and Charlotte they trailed significantly late in the fourth quarter before going on miraculous runs in the final few minutes. Portland got off to a slow start, but it looks like they’re starting to hit their stride. The Trail Blazers enter this one off back to back wins over the Lakers and Pacers. They only started so poorly because Damien Lillard was shooting horribly, which was always a fluke that was never going to last.
