The six-game NBA slate for Tuesday night will wrap up in San Francisco with the Philadelphia 76ers taking on the Golden State Warriors on TNT (10pm ET). Both teams will look a little different with Joel Embiid sitting this one out for the 76ers and Steph Curry taking the night off for the Warriors. Still, stars out of action mean more work for everyone else which makes a same game parlay an effective strategy. Let’s take a look at the best options for this showdown and don’t forget to check out our full game preview for picks on the side and total.
Danny Green to record 10+ points (-102)
Jordan Poole to record 20+ points (-128)
Andrew Wiggins to record 20+ points (+106)
Ben Simmons to record 8+ rebounds (-166)
Parlay odds: +1108
Danny Green to record 10+ points (-102)
Injuries are a part of the game and they change the way teams approach the game. When one guy goes down then another one has to step up. For the Philadelphia 76ers as it relates to Seth Curry’s injury, Danny Green has been the primary beneficiary. Curry got hurt at the end of the 76ers’ game with the Milwaukee Bucks and in two game since, Green has delivered. In fact even before Curry was injured, Green was delivering. In his last six games, Green has scored at least 10 points in all of them. He seems like a safe bet to do it again tonight against the Warriors.
Jordan Poole to record 20+ points (-128)
Injuries are the theme in this game as the Warriors are dealing with their fair share as well. With no Steph Curry around to dominate the ball, other players are having to step up. One such player is Jordan Poole. In his last three games, Poole has gone over 23 points in every one despite only playing 24 minutes in one of them. He took a season-high 21 shots in his last game and there is no reason to think the green light is gone. He should easily top this number tonight against a 76ers team that doesn’t cover the perimeter well.
Andrew Wiggins to record 20+ points (+106)
Another guy who has stepped up in the wake of Curry’s absence is Andrew Wiggins. Always known as a scorer, Wiggins has stepped up in that role with the added opportunity left behind by Curry. After dropping a 40-burger on the Grizzlies Friday, he turned around and hung 20 on them the very next night. The Warriors don’t have many proven scorers on their roster so they will need Wiggins to keep taking shots. He is averaging 19 shots per game over his last two. If he takes that many tonight, he should score at least 20 points.
Ben Simmons to record 8+ rebounds (-166)
More injuries, more angles for bettors. With no Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons has been rebounding the ball a bit more. In his last three games, Simmons has grabbed at least eight rebounds in all of them. Given that the Warriors may opt to go small tonight, it’s not crazy to think we could see Simmons at the five. Even if he’s not, he should still grab eight boards against one of the worst rebounding teams in basketball.
