The Brooklyn Nets will try to end an 8-game losing streak as they host the Boston Celtics, winners of 5 games in a row. I have prepared a same game parlay, after last night being just 1 Chris Paul point away from landing a +1182 same game parlay on the Suns vs Bulls game. Hopefully I have a bit more luck with tonight’s bet!

We also have predictions on the side and total for the rest of Tuesday’s 10-game slate, but without wasting any more time let’s get into the Celtics vs Nets match-up!

Boston Celtics 11+ win margin (+180)

Al Horford to record 10+ rebounds (+285)

Parlay odds: +814

Boston Celtics 11+ win margin (+180)

If I had to choose one word to describe the Celtics right now it would be “dominant.” This team is on a run of 5 straight wins and 7 in its last 8 games. During their current 5-game win streak the Celtics are beating teams by an average of 16.8 points. The Nets currently have the longest active losing streak in the NBA after losing their 8th straight in Denver. They return home for this game, which means no Kyrie Irving. James Harden is also bothered by a hamstring issue; he might not even play tonight. During their 8-game losing streak the Nets are losing games by an average of 11.8 points per game. They are the worst home team in the league when it comes to covering the spread at 5-19-1 for the season. Boston should dominate this one and win by at least 11 points.

Al Horford to record 10+ rebounds (+285)

Horford has been a rebounding machine for the Celtics over his last 3 games, totaling 11, 10, and 12 rebounds. With injuries to Kevin Durant, Paul Millsap, LaMarcus Aldridge, and Nic Claxton, the Nets will once again be thin on the inside. In their last game against the Nuggets they allowed Denver to grab 64 rebounds and over their last 3 games that number is at 58.7 per game. Only 3 teams in the entire NBA have allowed more opponent rebounds during that period. One more thing working in our favor here is Brooklyn’s lack of offensive rebounding production; the Nets average just 10.1 boards per game on offense and against the Nuggets they only managed 8 of them. If that’s the case in tonight’s game, as well, it means more rebounding opportunities for Horford. The Nets have all kinds of issues to sort out defensively at the moment, so an experienced player like Horford will find ways to control the boards.
