Show Bio

Like most Lithuanians, I started watching basketball from the age of six. I'm based out in London and played basketball at the University of Lincoln here in the UK. I had always had an interest in the NBA but things really took off in the summer of 2010. That year Linas Kleiza led Lithuania to 3rd place at the World Championships and signed with the Toronto Raptors to replace the departing Chris Bosh. I've been a Raptors fan since that day and I've not missed a game since. I've been handicapping games for more than a decade, specializing in player props. The Milwaukee Bucks are currently just a game off from leading the Eastern Conference standings, but they face a tough trip tonight. Up against them will be a Los Angeles Lakers squad that has shown good form at home, winning 17 of 29 games so far this season. A win here for the home side could allow it to rise up in the standings, getting them closer to the coveted 6th seed.

You can find our full game previews here. But for now, check out my Bucks vs Lakers same game parlay below.

Under 232.5 (-110)

Anthony Davis over 0.5 made threes (+114)

Russell Westbrook 8+ assists (+176)

Parlay odds: +1057

Under 232.5 (-110)

Despite both teams being involved in some high-scoring games lately, I am not feeling tonight’s projected total of 232.5 points. That number hasn’t been surpassed in the last 6 meetings between these teams, plus the average amount of points scored over the last 10 games has been 218.1 per game with the under landed 8 times — including the last 6 in a row. This Lakers defense has looked a lot better with Anthony Davis back in the mix, so he should be the one to slow down Giannis Antetokounmpo. Both teams are also in the top 15 when it comes to defensive efficiency, with the Bucks ranking 10th and the Lakers being 4 spots below. This has the potential to be a statement game for each team, so I think they will look to control the tempo and not let things get out of hand quickly. I’d advise backing the under.

Anthony Davis over 0.5 made threes (+114)

While Davis has not had much success from beyond the arc this season, I expect him to try and utilize that part of his game tonight. The Bucks have great interior defense with Antetokounmpo being one of the best in the league at protecting the paint. He has the ability to keep Davis from having success inside the arc as an on-ball defender or by providing help. I expect his presence tonight will force Davis to look for space from beyond the arc. The Bucks are happy to let teams shoot from deep. No team in the NBA allows more 3-point attempts and makes per game. Looking at his shooting percentage, they are likely to be happy to have Davis attack from there. I believe that he can make them pay for that at least once.

Russell Westbrook 8+ assists (+176)

As mentioned, the paint protection provided by Antetokounmpo is immense, and I expect it to affect other Lakers too. One of them being Russell Westbrook, who is most efficient when attacking the paint. With Giannis in there, I expect Westbrook to kick the ball out of the paint more often here. He could also have the option of using Anthony Davis as a lob threat. Westbrook averaged more than 8 assists per game in the first 3 months of the season before seeing that drop to 5.8 assists in January. So far in February, he is averaging 7.7 per night and I expect his bounce back to continue. On the season the Bucks are in the bottom 10 of the league in opponent assists per game. I am expecting Westbrook to pick up a few of those on Tuesday.
