Anthony Edwards to score 30+ points (+215)
It’s official – Anthony Edwards has arrived. He didn’t look fazed at all in his first playoff game over the weekend as he torched the Grizzlies for a team-high 36 points. Not only that, he was also very efficient from the field, connecting on 12-of-23 shots and making 4 threes on 11 attempts. He was also perfect from the line on 8 attempts, I didn’t see any sign of nervousness from the 20-year old and the Timberwolves have themselves a gem for years to come.
Out of the 3 star players on the Wolves roster, he seems to be the most reliable scoring threat. Karl-Anthony Towns choked in the play-in game against the Clippers, and D’Angelo Russell went just 2-for-11 and 10 points in Game 1 vs Memphis. Game 2 will be a lot tougher, but these young Timberwolves haven’t given up on the idea of going 2-0 up in this series and if that is going to happen, Edwards will need to repeat that performance from Saturday in tonight’s game.

Jaren Jackson Jr. to record 4+ blocks (+265)
Jackson Jr. was brilliant on the defensive end for Memphis in Game 1 getting 7 blocks, but in the end his team still allowed 130 points. You might be wondering why is that? Well, the rest of the team combined for just 1 block on the night, which tells you everything you need to know about the defensive effort that was shown in Game 1 by the Grizzlies.
In Game 1, the Timberwolves attempted 90 shots from the field and I don’t see the pace slowing down in Game 2, so that should give Jackson Jr. enough opportunities to block at least 4 shots. He had a stellar regular season with 177 blocks in 78 games played (that’s 40 more than Rudy Gobert, for example), against Minnesota he averaged 3 blocks per game in 4 meetings. After such a dominant performance in Game 1, getting to 4 blocks in Game 2 sounds very doable.
