Like most Lithuanians, I started watching basketball from the age of six. I'm based out in London and played basketball at the University of Lincoln here in the UK. I had always had an interest in the NBA but things really took off in the summer of 2010. That year Linas Kleiza led Lithuania to 3rd place at the World Championships and signed with the Toronto Raptors to replace the departing Chris Bosh. I've been a Raptors fan since that day and I've not missed a game since. I've been handicapping games for more than a decade, specializing in player props. The Portland Trail Blazers will be looking to extend their strong form at home as the Phoenix Suns pay them a visit. The Trail Blazers are currently 10-5  at the Moda center and their opponents tonight are potentially missing several key players. The pressure is on the team to get back to winning ways is mounting, with trade rumors likely to intensify around the squad if it continues much longer.

Our full game previews can be found here, but now lets take a look at my same game parlay.

Portland Trail Blazers ML (+100)

Damian Lillard to score 30+ points (+310)

Chris Paul under 9.5 assists (-102)

Parlay odds: +1029

Portland Trail Blazers ML (+100)

Whilst the Trail Blazers find themselves going through a rough patch, having dropped 5 straight games, they could be likely to bounce back here. Their opponents are a Suns team that could be missing their star players in Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton. The team will also be playing their second game in as many nights as they lost to the Los Angeles Clippers last night. Phoenix lost by 16 points despite the Clippers not having Paul George available. The Suns are not the same team without their offensive leaders, and with Paul being 36-years old, playing his second game in as many nights could hinder his performance here.

Damian Lillard to score 30+ points (+310)

With CJ McCollum remaining out for the Trail Blazers, I am expecting Damian Lillard to put the team on his back and will them back to the win column. Although he has struggled slightly of late, he has still reached the 30-point mark twice in his last 6 games, and this is the type of game he could thrive in. Paul is an undersized point guard and could have issues contesting Lillard’s shots tonight. Considering his age and potential fatigue, he could have a hard time in keeping Lillard out of the paint too.

The Suns also tend to play at the third fastest pace in the league which should work to his advantage. Lillard has no hesitation to pull up from deep so being involved in an up-tempo matchup could create more open looks for him here this way. Trying to end a losing streak against a fatigued opponent, I am looking for Lillard to be very aggressive on the offensive side of the ball tonight.

Chris Paul under 9.5 assists (-102)

The Phoenix Suns point guard has played on the second night of a back-to-back on 5 separate occasions this season with his assist numbers not looking great in those games. He failed to record double digit assist numbers in 4 of those games and could struggle to once more tonight. The Suns are in a good position, sitting second in the Western Conference. If Booker and Ayton are unavailable and the Trail Blazers jump out to an early lead, I can see the Suns limiting his minutes here. As a result, the under could be the bet to make on his assists tonight.
