We have a solid slate in the NBA today, with a handful of interesting games. What better way to celebrate than by going for a big payday on Thursday? That’s right; we’re back with another mega parlay, NBA edition.

I’ve hit a few of these recently, so hopefully we can keep it going. We’re going big and bold again, so let’s not waste any more time. But before we dive in, don’t forget to check out our free picks on the side and total for every NBA game today.

New Orleans Pelicans ML (+156)

Los Angeles Clippers ML (+205)

Phoenix Suns -3.5 (-110)

Parlay odds: +1390

Let’s break down each of the legs one by one.

New Orleans Pelicans ML (+156) over Miami Heat

To start off our mega parlay we have the Pelicans on the money line as a home ‘dog. I’m not quite as big of a believer in the Heat as many in the media are, and they aren’t nearly the same team away from home that they are on their own court. Miami has won three in a row but they were against struggling Wizards, Hornets and Spurs teams. Right before that when the competition was a bit stiffer, they had lost three in a row.

The Pelicans, on the other hand, are starting to make a push, having won four in a row. They made a bold move just before the trade deadline by adding CJ McCollum, and McCollum is going to make his New Orleans debut tonight. That should be a huge boost to the offense, as they were in desperate need of guard help.

Los Angeles Clippers ML (+205) over Dallas Mavericks

Give me the Clippers for the next leg of our mega parlay. Los Angeles is one of the scrappiest teams in the league and they always seem to pull off upsets in games where they’re counted out, so getting better than 2/1 is too good to pass up. The Clips are 4-4 in their last eight, but three of those losses came at the Grizzlies, to the defending champion Bucks and at the Heat. Three really tough games.

Ty Lue is one of the best coaches in the league, and even when he’s really shorthanded like now he always keeps the team competitive. And perhaps most importantly, I’m just not scared of Dallas right now. I mean this is a team that lost back to back games to the Magic and Thunder last week. That’s really hard to do.

Phoenix Suns -3.5 (-110) over Milwaukee Bucks

To wrap up this mega parlay and hopefully bring us home, we have the Suns against the spread. This is the first meeting between Phoenix and Milwaukee since last season’s NBA Finals, and the Suns will have revenge on their mind here at home. Since they met in the finals last year Phoenix has only gotten better, while the Bucks have been a bit underwhelming this season. The Suns just beat really good Bulls and 76ers teams on the road in their two most recent games, and are now an incredible 44-10 overall.

They’ve won 14 of their past 15, with the one loss in that span coming in a close game on the road against a surging Hawks team. Milwaukee has been up and down, and none of their recent wins have been at all impressive. I’m not giving them too much credit for blowing out the Lakers the other night.
