Two teams in really good form clash in Dallas tonight as the Mavericks host Western Conference leaders the Phoenix Suns. Tip-off at American Airlines Center is set for 7:30 pm ET and I’ve prepared another same-game parlay.
Continue reading to see it, but also don’t forget to check our predictions on the side and total for the rest of Thursday’s 3-game slate.
Let’s dive in!
Dallas Mavericks ML (+124)
Devin Booker to score 30+ points (+158)
Chris Paul over 0.5 made threes (-188)
Parlay odds: +945
Dallas Mavericks ML (+124)
The Dallas money line is the trickiest leg of this parlay, even though it’s not the biggest odds. Both teams have been in fine form lately, but I’m giving the Mavericks the edge only because they are playing at home. They’ve covered in 6 of their last 9 games overall, and they have a 14-8 record at home this season. Luka Doncic put on a show against the Raptors last night by scoring 41 points to lead the Mavs to a win, he will look to translate that into another big game against Phoenix. The Mavs have covered in 4 of 5 games against Pacific Division opponents, although it won’t be easy tonight I think they have what it takes to knock off the best team in the West.

Devin Booker to score 30+ points (+158)
Ever since his incident with the Raptors mascot, Devin Booker has been playing on a different level. He’s had 3 straight games of 30+ points and averaged 37.7 points while shooting 52% from the field and almost 39% from downtown. He’s making 80% of his free throws while attempting 8.7 per game. His shot attempts have risen to 25.3 per game over the last 3 games, and he’s making 4 threes on 10.3 attempts as well. Against the Mavericks he has already had 5 games of 30 or more points in his career, and with the hot streak he’s been on there’s no doubt in my mind he can make it 6 tonight.
Chris Paul over 0.5 made threes (-188)
As a little odds boost I’ve decided to add Chris Paul to this bet. He’s made a 3-pointer in 7 of his last 9 games overall and in 13 of his 15 games against the Mavericks. The Suns rank 5th in the NBA in 3-point percentage this season, averaging 36.8% per game. In their last 4 games they’ve averaged 10.5 per game as a team, and when a player handles the ball as much as Paul does, he should get more than enough attempts and draining one of them shouldn’t be a problem. Dallas allows opponents to make 34.1% shots from 3-point land this season, so let’s hope Paul can take advantage of that.
