Another day, another NBA TNT double-header coming our way!
The Brooklyn Nets and Dallas Mavericks square off at 7:30 pm ET, followed by the battle of Los Angeles at 10 pm ET.

The Mavericks shouldn’t be this big of an underdog at home. Brooklyn is still without James Harden, and they’ve now lost three games in a row. Dallas on the other hand has been on fire, winning four of their past five. They just beat Miami by 14 on the road their last time out. Tim Hardaway Jr. has scored at least 36 points in two of their last four, so it’s not like Luka Doncic is having to do everything by himself. The Nets still can’t play defense, and they’ve given up at least 117 in three straight games. When these teams played earlier this season, the Mavericks won by 17 in Brooklyn.

Kevin Durant to Score 35+ Points (+210)
Over his last three games, Durant has scored 42, 42, and 32 points. With Kyrie Irving being inconsistent, Durant has had to carry the Nets offense by himself, and although he has put up big numbers they have lost three straight. That will only motivate Durant to play even better, I don’t see anyone on the Dallas roster who can step in front of him and slow him down. Over his last 10 games, he is shooting 57 percent from the field and from three-point land, plus 84 percent from the charity stripe. His offensive game has no weakness — we expect a high-scoring game here so Durant should put up a ton of shots. Over his last three games, he has had 24, 33, and 22 field goal attempts. K.D. can score 35 in his sleep.
Luka Doncic to Score 40+ Points (+480)
Luka has been getting help lately in the form of Tim Hardaway Jr. who has scored 36 points twice in the last four games. Kristaps Porzingis has been ruled out once again, which leaves a 20-point per game hole in the Mavericks offense tonight. Someone will have to step up and we all know Doncic is more than capable of doing so. He has had 30+ in three of his last four, including 39 against the Warriors a week ago. This being a marquee match-up televised on national TV, I expect Doncic to show up big time and drop at least 40 points on the defensively struggling Nets.
