We can be honest, we’re all friends here. The NBA slate tonight is not the best. We’ve got eight games and none of them really mean much in the non-gambling world. But here’s the thing, we don’t live in the non-gambling world. We live in the gambling world and all games mean something. It’s just one of the perks of living here. Fortunately for us, ESPN is showing the New Orleans Pelicans and Golden State Warriors at 9:30pm ET. Since it’s on television, we probably should at least bet it. Not just any bet though, a same game parlay!

Golden State Warriors win margin 11+ (+310)
I know the Warriors are playing for nothing if the Grizzlies win tonight. But the Warriors are on a four game run posting wins over the Utah Jazz and Phoenix Suns in that span. I get that Draymond Green is banged up. Stephen Curry is banged up. Andrew Wiggins is banged up. Kelly Oubre is still out. If those guys actually play tonight which is definitely possible, it’s hard to imagine they don’t wax this Pelicans team that is just playing out the string. At this +310 number, the Warriors winning by 11+ tonight is certainly in play.
New Orleans Pelicans 4th Quarter ML (-110)
Assuming the Warriors can get out to a lead and hold it, why not take the Pelicans to win the fourth quarter? Just last game against the Mavericks, it was the Pelicans that got smashed and they dominated the fourth quarter even though they lost the game by 18 points. Tonight, if the Warriors have a large lead in the fourth and are just looking to run clock, they could certainly lose the fourth quarter. It’s the exact same scenario as the other night where the Pelicans have guys that never get to play going against guys just trying to run the clock out. This is not a crazy bet.
