The LA Lakers are looking to end a 7-game losing streak and a 4-game road losing streak as they head to Chase Center to take on the Golden State Warriors. Tip-off is scheduled for 10:00 pm ET on TNT, and I’ve prepared a same game parlay which is available below.

After checking it out, be sure to go through our predictions on the side and total for the rest of Thursday’s action, including the first leg of the TNT doubleheader between the Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks.

Let’s dive in!

Over 230.5 alt. total points (+205)

Jordan Poole to score 30+ points (+235)

Klay Thompson 4+ made threes (-122)

Parlay odds: +1275

Over 230.5 alternate total points (+205)

I am running out of words to describe this Lakers defense. They’ve been historically bad during this 7-game losing streak, allowing more than 120 points 5 times. Only 4 teams in the NBA allow more points on the road than the Lakers, who are giving up 116.5 per game. A high-scoring team like the Warriors will surely take advantage of that. This season’s 3 meetings between the teams have averaged 235.6 points and the total has cashed on the over in all 3 of them, with 230.5 points exceeded in all 3 games as well. With nothing to play for these remaining few games, I don’t see the Lakers improving on defense any time soon, so tonight’s game should be high-scoring.

Jordan Poole to score 30+ points (+235)

Jordan Poole has made a name for himself this season, especially over the last 10 games, elevating his numbers to almost elite status. He is averaging 27.9 points per game during that stretch while shooting almost 45% from the field and 40.5% from 3-point land, while making 92.3% of free throws. He is the perfect replacement for Stephen Curry, and having him as his backup once he is back from injury will be crucial for a deep run in the playoffs. The Warriors are aware of this and that’s one of the reasons he’s had such a big role in their offense as of late. I expect that to continue tonight. He’s going up against Russell Westbrook, who is a defensive liability. In just 27 minutes per game he’s averaged 18 points in 3 meetings with the Lakers. If he plays his usual 36+ minutes I can definitely see him scoring 30 points, as he has in 2 of his last 3 games.

We also have a same game parlay for Boston Celtics vs Milwaukee Bucks (+903 odds!)

Klay Thompson 4+ made threes (-122)

Klay Thompson has also balled out lately. Over his last 7 games he’s averaging 24 points per game while shooting a solid 42% from the field and 37% from 3-point land. Against the Lakers earlier this season he had arguably his best game of the season when he scored 33 points while making 5 of 9 threes. Over the weekend against Utah he made 8 of 17 shots from deep and in March he was making 3.6 threes per game. That’s all good news when you’re facing a team that is allowing 35.2% makes from three this season, which ranks just 17th in the NBA. I don’t see anyone on the Lakers roster being able to stay in front of him, and I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw Klay go crazy from deep.
