The NBA will dominate the airwaves today as balls will be flying around television screens from 1pm ET until past midnight. ESPN has a double header and NBA TV has a double header so we’re covered. It’s a glorious day to be an NBA fan to be honest. But on days like this, we need to focus. We should hone in on one game and try to dominate it. The Bucks vs Hawks on NBA TV at 7:30pm ET seems like the perfect one to focus on. By “focus”, I mean toss out a same game parlay!

The Bucks have been playing inspired ball recently with only tow losses in their last seven games. Both losses were to two of the better Western Conference teams so they get a little slack for those. They are coming off of two straight up beatdowns of the Philadelphia 76ers so extra credit should be given there. The Hawks are down Trae Young for this one which worked fine agains the Heat but it’s time to pay the piper today. Milwaukee should cover this game but the win is a safer move for this parlay.
Milwaukee Bucks team total over 116.5 (-114)
The Bucks been winning with offense and that shouldn’t change tonight. They’ve hit this number in their last eight games which includes hanging 120 on the Hawks on April 15th. They are third in the NBA in three-point percentage over that span which makes sense. The Hawks are the third best three-point defense in the NBA on the season but they are one game removed from letting the Knicks connect on 54% of their three-point attempts. Atlanta can be had from deep which will lead to the Bucks scoring over 117 again.
Bucks vs Hawks Under 226.5 (-110)
This is the bet that gives us the big odds but it is a safe one. The Bucks are coming off of a game where they only allowed a shorthanded 76ers team to score 94 points. They feature a top-five defense in the last eight games that will be going against another team without their star. Clint Capela is questionable as well so if he sits, the Hawks will be in further peril. This game seems like it has a 119-103 feel to it with the under never being in any real danger.
Bucks vs Hawks Over 56.5 * first quarter (-102)
The Bucks have been playing at the seventh fastest pace in the NBA in the first quarter over the last four games. The game before last they hung 40 on the 76ers in the first frame. Meanwhile, the Hawks have given up 30+ to each of the last two teams they have played. Atlanta is not just giving it up early though, they are scoring too. In both of their last two games, they’ve scored at least 31 points in the opening quarter. This one looks like it will start fast before tapering off.
