In the past 7 days I’ve landed 3 same game parlays, including back-to-back winners on Wednesday and Thursday. The all-star game is the perfect opportunity to cap off an incredible week, continue reading below to see my bet!
Tip-off is set for 8 pm ET on Sunday and you can catch the game live on TNT. Be sure to also check out our predictions on all-star Saturday night, as we have covered all the events happening this weekend in Cleveland.
Let’s dive in!
Team Durant Money Line (+190)
DeMar DeRozan Over 17.5 Points (-102)
Luka Doncic Over 13.5 Points (-110)
Joel Embiid Over 22.5 Points (-122)
Parlay odds: +2274
Team Durant Money Line (+190)
Although Team LeBron has won the last 4 all-star games, I fancy that streak to end on Sunday. There’s no questioning the talent level on both teams, but with players like Joel Embiid, Trae Young and Ja Morant starting, plus Devin Booker and Zach LaVine coming off the bench, Team Durant has the perfect mixture of youth, talent and experience in my opinion. Being coached by Eric Spoelstra also helps, he brings in that well known Miami Heat culture here which will prevent some players getting carried away too much, so expect Team Durant to be really up for winning this one.

DeMar DeRozan Over 17.5 Points (-102)
There is no player hotter than DeMar DeRozan in the NBA right now, over his last 10 games he is averaging 35.8 points per game on 57% shooting from the field and 33.3% from downtown. He just became the first player ever to score 35+ points in 7 games in a row while shooting over 50% from the field. Despite all that though he is being overlooked by some people in the MVP conversation this year, so I’m counting on that to spark something in him for this game. He will be the player with the biggest chip on his shoulder entering this game, fingers crossed Monty Williams plays him enough minutes so he can get to a decent amount of points.

Luka Doncic Over 13.5 Points (-110)
So far in 2 all-star games Luka has scored 8 points in each of them, it’s time for him to surpass that number. Similarly to DeRozan, Doncic has been on fire over the past 10 games averaging 35.4 points per game while shooting almost 49% from the field and 43.3% from downtown. In his last 4 games he has scored 49, 21, 45 and 51 points. Him being a bench player in this one isn’t ideal, but hopefully some of the more experienced players starting ahead of him will sit more, so that’s his chance to take over. He is a threat from all angles on the court, we just need him to score 14 points for our bet to land, shouldn’t be an issue.
Joel Embiid Over 22.5 Points (-122)
I cannot finish my bet without including Joel Embiid. The MVP frontrunner has been on a tear, scoring over 30 points in 21 of his last 28 games and he comes into this one on the heels of a spectacular performance against Giannis Antetokounmpo where he scored 42 points and carried the Philadelphia 76ers to an important road win. The big man is scoring from everywhere on the court, even his three-point shot has been falling consistently lately. He’s made 1.8 threes per game in the month of February. With the team’s captain Kevin Durant not playing here, Embiid will have to take on the responsibility of being the leader out there for Team Durant and without an all-star game MVP award to his name yet, I have a feeling he might go for it on Sunday night.
