Well, we made it to the final day of the regular season. It’s been a long ride, and we have one final NBA slate on Sunday, with all 30 teams in action. We’ve got a nationally televised game on TNT here as the New Orleans Pelicans host the Golden State Warriors. And what better way to celebrate than by betting a same game parlay?

We’ve also got thoughts on the side and total for each of the day’s matchups, and we will have SGPs for all nationally televised games as well, which you can always find in our analysis section.

Let’s dive right in.

New Orleans Pelicans ML (+225)

Klay Thompson to record 30+ points (+350)

Parlay odds: +1875

We have a two-leg parlay here, one which pays out at north of 18/1 with FanDuel Sportsbook. Let’s break down each of the legs:

New Orleans Pelicans ML (+225)

To start off this same game parlay we have the Pelicans on the money line. It’s true that New Orleans is locked into the 9-seed and doesn’t really need to win this game, but that doesn’t mean everything. The Pels have announced they’ll sit a few guys, but it looks like CJ McCollum is going to play here. Golden State is still playing for the 3 or 4 seed, but they still won’t have Stephen Curry here. The Warriors have won 4 in a row because they played a few weak teams all together, but right before that they had lost four in a row.

And while they’re still playing for seeding, I don’t know if there’s a huge difference between the 3/4 in the West. I’m not entirely sure they’d rather be the 3 seed and play the Nuggets in the first round than be the 4-seed and play the struggling Jazz in the first round. When you throw in the fact that the Warriors have been much worse on the road all season, there’s a lot to like about getting the Pels at better than 2/1 at home.

Klay Thompson to record 30+ points (+350)

We get a big odds boost here from FanDuel by combining this with the first leg of our same game parlay. But I’m not sure it conflicts much. Thompson sat out on Saturday so that he could play here, and I think the team is going to give him the green light to chuck it as much as possible here. They want him getting into a rhythm and entering the playoffs with a ton of confidence after his return from two devastating injuries. And Thompson has been playing very well recently.

In each of his last two games, he’s gotten to at least 33 points. But that doesn’t always mean team success for the Warriors. Just a couple weeks ago Thompson scored 37 in a game against the Hawks that Golden State lost by-double digits.
