We have a cross-conference NBA matchup in Dallas tonight as the Atlanta Hawks come to town to take on the Mavs. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:00 pm ET, and I’ve gone in-depth and prepared another same-game parlay which you can find below.

Don’t forget to check our predictions on the side and total for the rest of Sunday’s 8-game slate, but let’s get into the Hawks vs Mavericks clash first!

Atlanta Hawks 1-10 win margin (+200)

Luka Doncic to score 35+ points (+190)

Luka Doncic to record 10+ assists (-128)

Parlay odds: +1620

Atlanta Hawks 1-10 win margin (+200)

Both of these teams have been involved in some really close games lately. Atlanta’s last 4 games have been decided by an average of 8.5 points, while the Mavs’ last 3 games were decided by just 5.6 points per game. I like the Hawks to win for several reasons. They’ve turned things around recently, going 8-2 in their last 10 games and losing only twice to the Toronto Raptors. During that stretch they’ve beaten good teams in the Bucks, Heat, Hornets (by 22) and the best team in the league, the Suns. Trae Young has been on fire, scoring at least 36 in 2 of his past 3 games. Dallas picked up a desperately-needed win over the 76ers last time out, but right before that they lost back-to-back games to the Thunder and Magic, the bottom teams in the East and West.

Luka Doncic to score 35+ points (+190)

With Kristaps Porzingis and Tim Hardaway Jr. sidelined with injuries, Luka Doncic has turned it up a notch lately, scoring 30 or more points in 4 straight games while averaging 34.3 per game. He has also been very efficient from the field, shooting almost 52%, and 37% from 3-point land. His free throws have been off a bit, but despite that opponents are struggling to contain him. Against a Hawks team that has allowed 115.3 points per game over their last 3 outings and ranks only 28th in defensive efficiency this season, he should have his way. The Hawks tend to struggle against opposing wings and guards. In their last 2 games they allowed Pascal Siakam to score 33 and Devin Booker to drop 32 against them. I’d argue Doncic is on the same level or even better than those players on offense, so look for him to dominate.

Luka Doncic to record 10+ assists (-128)

One more thing Luka has been good at lately is getting everyone involved. He has collected 10 or more assists in 5 straight and has averaged 12.6 per game during that stretch. In the win over Philadelphia he had 15 of them matching his season high which he had last week in the win over Portland. With the total going over in 5 of the last 6 Dallas games and in 8 of 12 for the Hawks, I’m expecting a high-scoring game, so Luka should have plenty of opportunities to get some assists in a fast-paced game. In his last 3 games against the Hawks he had 10 or more assists twice. Atlanta is allowing 25.7 assists per game this season, ranking only 27th in the NBA. In their loss at Toronto the other day they allowed the Raptors 29.
