What a way to end the week – we have an early ESPN double-header in the NBA today!

The Miami Heat and Boston Celtics start us off at 1pm ET, followed by the New York Knicks and Los Angeles Clippers at 3.30 pm ET!

Our same-game parlays will cover both games, we also have predictions on the side and total for the rest of Sunday’s action, make sure you check those out as well.

Let’s focus on the Knicks and Clippers for now though!

New York Knicks ML (+265)

Julius Randle Top Point Scorer (+135)

Paul George Over 23.5 Points (-106)

Parlay odds: +1564

New York Knicks ML (+265)

The Knicks have a good chance to pull off this upset and bring us most of the way home. New York is 12-3 in their last 15 games, with the only three losses coming to the Suns twice and the Nuggets. Two of the best teams in the league. Now the Knicks are catching a Clippers team that is still a bit shorthanded. It’s not like Los Angeles is playing their best basketball, as they’re just 2-3 in their last five games. The two wins came against a Lakers team that’s in free-fall and a banged up Raptors team by five points. Most of their recent tests, they’ve failed. New York’s defensive intensity makes them a prime candidate to upset anybody. Getting +265 presents a lot of value, since there’s always going to be a lot of variance in Knicks games.

Julius Randle Top Point Scorer (+135)

New York’s best player by a long shot and likely winner of the Most Improved Player award. He has been consistently putting up numbers all year long. In his last five games he has put up 24 or more points in four of them. Everything goes through him on the offense and if the Knicks want to have any chance of winning here, he will have to have a big night. In the one game against the Clippers this season he has already scored 27 points and shot 50 percent from the field, including 80 percent from three point land. In his last 10 games he is at 26.9 points per game, no Clipper player is averaging that much during their last 10.

Paul George Over 23.5 Points (-106)

I’m actually surprised the total on George is this low, considering how well he has played recently. In his last 10 games he is averaging 25.1 points and is carrying the load on offense as Kawhi Leonard works his way back into the mix. He is shooting close to 45 percent from the field and 33 percent from three-point land. Against the Lakers the other night he scored 24 points while taking only 12 shots. He also has at least three made three-pointers in three of his last four games. Expect him to be the primary scoring option for the Clippers here.
