We have an early tip-off at Madison Square Garden today as the New York Knicks host the LA Clippers at 1:00 pm ET. I’ve prepared a same-game parlay which you can find below.
We also have predictions on the side and total for the rest of Sunday’s 11-games, so be sure to check out those as well.
Let’s focus on the Clippers and Knicks now!
New York Knicks -4 (-110)
Ivica Zubac over 8.5 points (+104)
Marcus Morris 3+ made threes (+230)
Parlay odds: +1550
New York Knicks -4 (-110)
The main reason for backing the Knicks is the absence of Paul George for the Clippers. Without him this team just hasn’t been the same and their last 5 games include losses to New Orleans by 24 points and the San Antonio Spurs by 7. Even though the Knicks are on a 3-game losing streak, they’ve gone 6-3 against the spread in their last 9 games. Against Western Conference teams they have a habit of covering the spread: in the last 7 such games they’ve done so 5 times. Their defense has improved lately and against a limited Clippers side they have a pretty good chance ending the losing streak in front of their home fans.

Ivica Zubac over 8.5 points (+104)
The big man from Croatia has been putting up numbers lately. Over his last 3 games he has scored in double digits and just 2 games ago against the Denver Nuggets he finished with a career-high 32 points on 15-of-19 shooting from the field. He also had 10 boards in that game, doing all of that with the MVP Jokic guarding him most of the game. In the game after that he matched up with another elite center in Joel Embiid and scored 12. The Knicks aren’t exactly a top-tier team when it comes to interior presence. They just allowed 46 points in the paint against the Pelicans with Jonas Valanciunas scoring 18 against them. Zubac plays a similar style to Jonas, so I expect him to crack the double digits again.
Marcus Morris 3+ made threes (+230)
Marcus Morris’s production has been fairly steady over the last 10 games and he is averaging 17.1 points per game, scoring on almost 40% of his shots from 3-point land. Morris is a rare player who plays better on the road — his average goes up by more than 4 points away from home. His 3-point shot is 40% on the road compared to just 34.8% at home, so there’s a solid chance he can nail 3 threes in this one. He has done so in 2 of the last 3 games and he’s shot over 50% during that stretch. If we look at his last 5 games against the Knicks, he has scored at least 3 threes in 3 of them. New York ranks only 15th in opponent 3-point percentage, allowing 34.7% per game, the Pelicans just managed to shoot 39.3% against them in their last game. Hopefully Morris can get hot early in this one.
