A total of 24 NBA teams hit the hardwood today and we have a pair of double-headers on ABC and NBA TV. It all starts at 1:00 pm ET on ABC between the Dallas Mavericks and Milwaukee Bucks. I’ve gone in depth and prepared a same game parlay, which is available below.
Make sure you also go through our predictions on the side and total for the rest of Sunday’s 12-game slate.
Let’s dive in!
Milwaukee Bucks 1-10 win margin (+170)
Jrue Holiday Over 1.5 made threes (-128)
Luka Doncic to score 35+ points (+235)
Parlay odds: +1328
Milwaukee Bucks 1-10 win margin (+170)
Pickswise handicapper Brian Prouty has backed the Bucks to cover as 5.5-point favorites on Sunday and I totally agree with him on that. Milwaukee is eyeing the top spot in the East, is 1.5 games back from Miami, and a win here is much-needed to keep the pressure on. The starters recently had the night off against LA, so Giannis Antetokounmpo and company should be fresh for this one. Dallas has the eighth-best defense in the NBA, so the Bucks fourth-best offense will be tested. The first meeting of the season ended in a 7-point Bucks road win and 4 of the last 5 meetings were decided by single-digits. I’m looking for a similar result in tonight’s game.

Jrue Holiday Over 1.5 made threes (-128)
Holiday has really stepped it up with his 3-point shooting over the past couple of months. He has improved from scoring 1.9 treys per game in January to 2.4 in February and 2.2 in March. Although his percentage was down in March compared to February, he still finished the month connecting on 39.7% of his attempts. For the entire month he made at least 2 threes in 10 of 13 games, so I think there is a solid chance he drains at least 2 tonight. The Mavs just got destroyed by the Washington Wizards from beyond the arc, as they allowed them to shoot 51.5%.
Luka Doncic to score 35+ points (+235)
If Dallas wants to come anywhere close to winning here, Doncic will have to deliver bigtime. He has been doing so over his last 4 games, scoring more than 30 points in all 4 of them. In his last 2 he dropped 35 on Cleveland and 36 on Washington, so we are getting solid odds for something that has happened in his last 2 games. Against the Bucks he has scored 35 points once in the last 3 meetings, and he has the height advantage over Jrue Holiday in this one — which he can exploit. Only 1 other teammate scored in double-digits for Dallas in its loss at Washington; that’s a clear indicator of just how much the Mavs rely on their point guard.
