The Atlanta Hawks and Philadelphia 76ers tip off their series in Philadelphia Sunday afternoon at 1pm ET. The Sixers could be without Joel Embiid which changes things immensely. What doesn’t change is the fact that we need to bet on this game. It’s on ABC and it’s on in the middle of the day. Plus it’s an NBA playoff game. There are a ton of angles to play and at the end of the day, that makes it perfect for a same game parlay.

Trae Young to score 30+ points (+194)
Ben Simmons to record 10+ assists (+180)
Danny Green over 9.5 points (-120)
Parlay odds: +1222
Trae Young to score 30+ points (+194)
The Atlanta Hawks steamrolled the New York Knicks in the first round and it was largely due to the play of Trae Young. He is the alpha in Atlanta at this point and he should be considered a threat to go over 30 points every time he steps on the floor. In the series with the Knicks, he did it three different times. Even better, he had the volume to do it in every game. He took at least 19 shots in every game and got to the free throw line an average of seven times a game. In Game 1 of this series, he will no doubt shoulder the scoring load. Getting 30 points at +194 is a steal and we should start the parlay there.

Ben Simmons to record 10+ assists (+180)
If Joel Embiid sits against the Hawks in Game 1, then Simmons can expect to see his usage go through the roof. In Game 5 against the Wizards without Embiid in the lineup, he ended with a triple-double. Even with Embiid active, Simmons still surpassed 10 assists in tow of the five games. In two others, he registered eight and nine. Both teams will be looking to establish dominance in Game 1 of this series. I don’t think Embiid will be active and that will open up more usage for Simmons. If it does, I like him to record double-digit assists. Especially at +180.
Danny Green over 9.5 points (-120)
Embiid’s absence will open up more usage for more than just Ben Simmons. One guy that should correlate nicely with the Simmons assist prop is Danny Green’s points number. Green is a catch and shoot guy that when on, can fill it up. In five games against the Wizards in round one, Green went over this number in three of the contests. In the last three games, he took at least seven shots from the floor. With Embiid out of the lineup, we can expect him to do the same in Game 1. If he takes seven or more shots Sunday, he should go over 9.5 points.
