There’s just something about the last game of the night on Sunday’s that make me want to gamble. Usually the MLB occupies this spot but tonight we’re being given the Los Angeles Clippers and Dallas Mavericks on TNT to wrap up the day. What’s sweet is that Memorial Day is tomorrow so this is pretty much an undercover Saturday night. What I like to do in a situation like this is throw out a same game parlay. There’s so many angles to consider in this matchup making it a perfect target.

Luka Doncic to record 5+ made threes (+260)
Paul George over 4.5 assists (+116)
Kawhi Leonard to record 30+ points (-152)
Parlay odds: +1088
Luka Doncic to record 5+ made threes (+260)
I literally hate taking a guy to hit this many threes but with Luka it’s different. Frankly, he is the Mavericks’ offense. Five really isn’t that many when he might take 15 on the night. Okay, 15 might be a stretch but in each of the last two games he’s taken 13 three-point attempts. That’s crazy. What’s even crazier is the fact that he’s hit at least five threes in all three games of this series. Doncic is going to shoot the ball close to 30 times tonight. At +260, this feels like the right bet to start the parlay.

Paul George over 4.5 assists (+116)
On thing that I’ve noticed is Paul George plays the facilitator role like a boss. For about the entire month of May, he’s been right at four assists per game. In fact, in nine of his last ten games we’ve seen him record at four assists. Over three of his last four, he’s handed out at least five dimes. In the game that he didn’t quite reach five, he had multiple opportunities to get there after recording zero assists in the first quarter. Given his role so far against the Mavericks in the playoffs, at +116, George is a good bet to get home on this number again tonight.
Kawhi Leonard to record 30+ points (-152)
If this game stays competitive, Kawhi Leonard will go over 30 points. It’s science. And a little math. Leonard had a rough Game 1 only shooting 40% from the floor and he still dropped 26 points. Since then he is a walking 30-burger. What helps is he is taking 20 shots per game which is above the 17.5 he averaged in the regular season. He’s also hanging out beyond the arc a little more averaging six long range attempts in the last two games. The Clippers are in a hole here and it would be crazy to think Kawhi Leonard isn’t the go-to guy tonight. I think he takes 20+ shots from the field and flirts with 40 in Game 4.
