The NBA is approaching the home stretch and we’ve got a great slate on Sunday with 8 interesting games to pore over. And what better way to celebrate than by going for a big payday? That’s right; we’re back with another mega parlay, NBA edition. My colleague Ricky Dimon just hit the NBA mega parlay on Saturday, now let’s make it two days in a row!
We’re going big and bold again, so let’s not waste any more time. But before we dive in, don’t forget to check out our free picks on the side and total for every NBA game today.
Dallas Mavericks ML (+190)
Indiana Pacers ML (+520)
Parlay odds: +1698
Let’s break down each of the legs one by one.
Dallas Mavericks ML (+190) over Boston Celtics
To start this mega parlay I’ve got Luka Doncic and the Mavericks. Outside of one recent debacle against the Knicks, Dallas has been hot. The Mavs are 12-3 in their last 15, and 2 of those losses were nail-biters. They’ve been one of the best teams in the league over the past month, and aren’t getting enough respect. Doncic is getting some nice help from his supporting cast, and even Dwight Powell chipped in a career-high 26 points in their most recent game.
The Celtics have impressed recently as well, but they haven’t played too difficult of a schedule. Not too many teams get to play the Pistons 3 times in the span of 9 games like Boston just did. They’ve been a nice story lately, but the Celtics are still a team that lost by 21 to the Pacers just a couple of weeks ago. They certainly aren’t unbeatable.
Indiana Pacers ML (+520) over Atlanta Hawks
Speaking of the Pacers, getting them at better than 5/1 to wrap up this mega parlay is too good to pass up. They recently demolished a surging Celtics team, so they clearly still have a fairly high ceiling, which is important when targeting a big money line upset like this one. It’s also important to target teams that have low floors when looking at who to fade at this steep of a price, and the Hawks certainly qualify. Atlanta has been a big disappointment this season, which has included losing plenty of games they should win on paper.
Indiana just beat the Spurs on the road by double digits their last time out, and this young core is better than you might think. Tyrese Haliburton, Chris Duarte, Buddy Hield and Isaiah Jackson all had at least 15 points against San Antonio. The Hawks have been nothing better than a .500 team all season and just lost to the Pistons, they shouldn’t be this large of a favorite against just about anybody.
