We have a total of 6 games on New Years Day in the NBA and what else to do then try our luck with another mega parlay, right? On Thursday our handicapper Andrew Ortenberg cashed on a +918 mega parlay, fingers crossed we can top that tonight!
Check out our predictions on the Spread and Total picks for all 6 games tonight, but let’s not waste any more time and jump straight into it.
Milwaukee Bucks -11 Point Spread (-110)
Chicago Bulls -2.5 Point Spread (-110)
Houston Rockets Money Line (+205)
Parlay odds: +1011
Milwaukee Bucks -11 Point Spread (-110)
We start off the parlay in Milwaukee, where the Bucks have been on a roll winning 5 in a row and 11 of 12 at home. Giannis Antetokounmpo is dropped 30 a night with double-digit rebounds against almost everyone. The Pelicans have been shorthanded for most of the season; tonight they will be without Jonas Valanciunas, which opens up the middle for the Bucks. Brandon Ingram is also questionable, and not having your 2 top scorers against the defending NBA champions on the road sounds like trouble to me. Bucks have won their last 2 games by 18 and 17 points; look for them to dominate tonight, as well.

Chicago Bulls -2.5 Point Spread (-110)
Next up we have the Chicago Bulls, who have also been on a hot streak lately winning 6 in a row. They are now top of the East with an identical record as Brooklyn, but a better head-to-head record. DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine didn’t have the best of games last night, but Chicago still pulled it out thanks to a last second 3-pointer from DeRozan. The Bulls have been dominant vs Washington lately, winning 7 of the last 9 games and have covered the spread in 8 of their last 9 visits to the Capital One Center. Their road record in the past 7 games is 5-2 SU, so they should have enough to get the job done vs the Wizards.

Houston Rockets Money Line (+205)
And to increase the odds of our parlay we have to go with an underdog tonight and I have a feeling the Houston Rockets have a really solid chance at home against the Denver Nuggets. The visitors have a bunch of players still in quarantine and they have not done well at all against the Rockets on the road lately, winning just once in their last 9 visits to Toyota Center. Houston has been solid at home this season at 7-9 SU; it has also covered in 7 of 16 games, so this team has improved significantly since their 15-game losing streak early in the season. Health-wise the Rockets are almost back to full health; the only notable absentee could be DJ Augustin, but even he is expected to be back for this one. It’s time for the Rockets to end their losing streak and get a statement win at home.
