This time I’m focusing on the Dallas Mavericks vs Charlotte Hornets game, which is live on on NBA TV at 7:00 pm ET.

Charlotte Hornets 1-10 win margin (+210)
The Hornets have performed well lately after struggling in February. They are now 5-2 SU/ATS over their last 7 games and have won 3 in a row by 10, 18 and 22 points. They will be extra motivated to get one over the Mavericks after losing the first meeting of the season by 24 points in Dallas. They will also be the much more rested team as the Mavs played in Philadelphia last night, while the Hornets haven’t played in 2 days. Luka Doncic really struggled in the loss at Philly last night, and we’re still unclear what’s going on with his hamstring. If he’s unable to give it 100% tonight then the Hornets have a pretty solid chance in front of their own fans. The last time they beat Dallas at home was in 2016. All streaks must come to an end, though, and tonight is the night for the Hornets to end an ugly one.

LaMelo Ball over 2.5 made threes (+118)
LaMelo Ball should be checked by Luka Doncic for most of the night and with the Mavs playing their 2nd game of a back-to-back, there could be some tired legs on defense. Ball has been hot from 3-point territory over his last 2 games, converting 5 shots against both Oklahoma City and Atlanta. In March he is making 2.6 threes per game while shooting 38.3%. Dallas normally does a solid job at defending the perimeter, but the game at Philadelphia revealed some weaknesses as they allowed Philly to make 42.1% of their attempts from deep. That’s definitely something LaMelo can take advantage of, and I’m expecting him to continue his hot shooting streak.

Miles Bridges over 3.5 assists (-148)
Miles Bridges has been sharing the ball a lot more than he usually does over his last 10 games. His assist numbers are up to 5 per game, an increase of 1.2 per game compared to his season average. In his last 3 games he finished with 6, 6 and 9 assists and in March he’s gone over 3.5 assists in 5 of 7 games while averaging 5.4 per game. Getting assists against this disruptive Dallas side isn’t easy, but the Hornets’ players are well aware that it will take them a total team effort if they want to come out with a win. Bridges is mature enough to realize this, so hopefully he can continue dishing it out to his teammates.
