It should be an exciting weekend ahead of us in the NBA and we start things off on Saturday with 6-games, including a showdown at Crypto.com Arena between the New York Knicks and Los Angeles Lakers. Tip-off is scheduled for 8.30 pm ET on ABC, and I’ve gone in-depth and prepared another same game parlay which you can find below.
Don’t forget to check our predictions on the side and total for the rest of Saturday’s 6-game slate, but for now let’s dive into the Knicks vs Lakers matchup!
Anthony Davis to score 30+ points (+128)
Evan Fournier over 3.5 threes (+138)
Mitchell Robinson over 8.5 rebounds (+100)
RJ Barrett over 19.5 points (-116)
Parlay odds: +1925
Anthony Davis to score 30+ points (+128)
Since losing LeBron James to injury, Davis has been the bright spot for this Lakers team despite them losing 4 of their last 5 games. AD has averaged 25.2 points per game during the stretch and has shot the ball almost 54% from the field, while also grabbing 10.2 boards per game. The only thing that has bothered him so far is his three-point shooting, but in his last 2 games he’s been able to get to 30 points without making a single shot from distance. If it wasn’t for the 8-point performance in his first game back from injury, his averages would have looked even better. He’s scored 30 or more in 3 of 4 games and against the Knicks he’s scored 30 or more in 5 of his last 9 games.

Evan Fournier over 3.5 threes (+138)
Fournier has woken up over his last 3 games totalling 30, 18 and 25 points, while scoring 5, 4 and 8 threes in those games. He has completely modified his game since coming to New York and is basically now just a spot-up three-point shooter. He rarely takes it to the hole, in the month of January he attempted only 1.6 free throws per game, compared to 7.5 attempts from three and 3.4 makes per game. He ended the month shooting 45.7% from distance and started off January with an 8-for-12 performance in the loss against Memphis. In the game played against the Lakers earlier this season at Madison Square Garden he went for 26 points and scored on 6 of his 9 attempts from distance in a 106-100 win for the Knicks. In his last 2 games vs LA he has scored a total of 9 threes.
Mitchell Robinson over 8.5 rebounds (+100)
Although he is 2nd in rebounding on the team behind Julius Randle, I’d argue Robinson brings a lot more on the boards to the Knicks in fewer minutes played compared to Randle. Over his last 2 games, he has played 30 and 22 minutes and grabbed 11 and 13 rebounds. For the month of January, he posted 9.1 rebounds per game and collected Over 8.5 of them in 4 of his last 6 games. The Lakers rank only 26th in the NBA when it comes to opponent rebounding per game giving up 55.2 per game this season, that’s definitely something Robinson can take advantage of in tonight’s game.
RJ Barrett over 19.5 points (-116)
Barrett has been hot for a while now averaging 20.4 points per game over his last 10 outings. He has scored 20 or more points in 4 of his last 6 games and is coming off a 23 point night in the home loss against Memphis. His responsibilities on offense went up significantly over the past couple of months. He started off the season averaging just 13.2 field goal attempts, in January that has jumped up to 17.6 per game. Derrick Rose being out has certainly helped him get more shots, so until he gets back I think Barrett will continue letting it fly and against a Lakers backcourt that has Russell Westbrook in it, he should get to 20 without much issues here.
