The NBA is finally back from its All-Star break at long last, why not celebrate by going for a big payday? That’s right, we’re back with another NBA mega parlay, this time a four-teamer with a payout just shy of 25/1 where we’re counting on the Thunder to pull off a money line upset. We’ve been rolling recently, with a couple of big NBA same game parlay wins, so why not follow it up with even more winners on Saturday?
We’re going big and bold, so let’s not waste any more time. We’re diving in, but don’t forget to check out our picks for the side and total on every NBA game.
Oklahoma City Thunder ML (+175)
Brooklyn Nets -11.5 (-110)
Charlotte Hornets -2 (-110)
Minnesota Timberwolves ML (+167)
Parlay odds: +2495
Let’s break down each of the four legs one by one.
Oklahoma City Thunder ML (+175)
We’re starting this parlay off with a money line underdog to get the odds cooking. There’s just no way the Knicks should be this large of a road favorite here. New York has lost two of their past three games by at least 26 points, so I think they’re certainly vulnerable to an upset in this spot. The Thunder have shown a ton of fight this season, and they’re coming off back to back wins over the Spurs and Mavericks so they’ve got plenty of momentum. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had at least 32 points in both those games, and even New York’s defense won’t be able to slow him down.
Brooklyn Nets -11.5 (-110)
I don’t see anyway the Nets don’t win this one in an absolute blowout. Brooklyn hasn’t just been winning games they’ve been covering them at a crazy clip, going 11-1 against the spread in their last 12 contests. Most of their recent wins have been blowouts, and they’ve been against teams much better than this Detroit one. They still don’t have Kevin Durant, but they’ve made it clear that they don’t need him. The Pistons are a dumpster fire, and have lost five of their last six games. The only win in that span came against a Raptors squad missing most of their team due to COVID-19 issues. This one will be over by halftime.
Charlotte Hornets -2 (-110)
Speaking of the Raptors, it makes sense to fade them again here as they’re still without a good chunk of the roster. Fred VanVleet, Pascal Siakam, and others are out for this one, so I think the Hornets are going to roll. Charlotte has won three of their last four, while the Raptors have lost five of six. Toronto’s one win in that span? Against a Rockets team that has looked like they couldn’t beat a G League squad over the past month. The Raps have lost to teams like the Hawks and Pistons recently, so it’s not like they’ve just been victims of a tough schedule. Without VanVleet or Siakam, they simply don’t have enough offense to hang here.
Minnesota Timberwolves ML (+167)
To wrap things up and hopefully bring us home we’ve got one more money line underdog, this time the Timberwolves. Minnesota way underachieved in the first half of the season, and they were a team that desperately needed the All-Star break to reset. It appears the time off did them some good, as they came out and demolished the Pelicans by 30 on the road in their first game back. Portland on the other hand lost their first game back, and the Trail Blazers are now just 3-5 in their last eight. Two of those three wins came by four points or fewer, so it could be even worse. Minnesota is a team I think will have some value moving forward, as they were without Karl Anthony-Towns for a good chunk of the season and aren’t nearly as bad as you might think.
