I cashed a +910 same game parlay on Monday, and it involved none other than the New York Knicks. Let’s make it two in a row as New York now plays the second leg of a back-to-back situation against the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday. It’s part of an intriguing 10-game slate in the NBA. Let’s take a look at the best same game parlay option for Knicks vs Nuggets, and also be sure to check out our full game preview for picks on the side and total.

Denver Nuggets -8 (-110)

Aaron Gordon over 1.5 three-pointers made (+138)

Julius Randle to score 20+ points (+104)

Parlay odds: +813

Part of the value in same game parlays, of course, is that all of its components can be correlated if you so choose. That is some of the plan here, as Aaron Gordon draining multiple three-pointers would obviously go well with a Denver win and cover. At the same time, plays that aren’t correlated drive up the overall payout of the parlay. That is the case with backing New York forward Julius Randle to pour in a fair amount of points. But even if Randle does, there is no reason why the Nuggets can’t get the job done. Let’s break down each of the three legs one by one.

Denver Nuggets -8 (-110)

The Nuggets are coming off a 124-104 home win over the Nets this past Sunday night. They improved to 12-8 since the start of the new year and were able to snap a 3-game losing streak with Sunday’s win. Reigning NBA MVP Nikola Jokic hasn’t skipped a beat this season and has carried the Nuggets to the 6th seed in the Western Conference while averaging a 24.0 point, 12.6 rebound, and 10.4 assist triple-double in his last 5 games. The visiting Knicks are coming off a 113-104 road loss to Utah last night. They have now lost their last 3 games by an average margin of 9.3 points and have dropped to 7-11 since the start of the calendar year. New York hasn’t won in Denver since the 2006-2007 season and it probably won’t come close on Tuesday.

Aaron Gordon over 1.5 three-pointers made (+154)

Gordon has successfully dialed long distance in 9 of his last 11 games. During this stretch he has delivered multiple triples on 7 occasions, including one 4-for-7 effort and also a 4-for-8 performance. Clearly asking him for two more on Tuesday really isn’t too much. The Knicks allow the 9th-most three-pointers per game in the NBA (13.0) and they are right in the middle of the pack in opponents’ three-point percentage.

Julius Randle to score 20+ points (+114)

It hasn’t been the best season on or off the court for Randle, but he is actually playing good basketball at the moment. He has scored at least 17 points in 10 of the last 12 outings. The former Kentucky standout went for 32 in his team’s overtime setback against the Lakers, going 11-of-22 from the floor and 8-of-10 from the free-throw line. He added 30 points on Monday against Utah. Randle may not be happy, but he is armed with some confidence right now.  It should also be noted that Denver is allowing the 7th-most points in the paint per game this season.
