With another off day from March Madness, the NBA is doing well to pick up the slack. We have an intriguing 11-game slate on our hands for Wednesday, when the Boston Celtics, Milwaukee Bucks, Denver Nuggets, Dallas Mavericks, Brooklyn Nets, and Utah Jazz are among the teams in action. A Celtics-Bucks and Nets-Jazz double-header on ESPN is the headliner, and both contests are getting the same game parlay treatment they deserve. Let’s take a look at the best such option for Brooklyn vs. Utah, and be sure to check out our full game preview for picks on the side and total.

Nets +11.5 (-114)

Rudy Gobert to score 20+ points (+235)

Bojan Bogdanovic to make 3+ three-pointers (+134)

Parlay odds: +1452

Part of the value in same game parlays, of course, is that all of its components can be correlated if you so choose. At the same time, however, plays that aren’t correlated drive up the overall payout of the parlay. We don’t really have a choice in the matter this time around, as no Brooklyn player props are on the SGP board. Thus we are rolling with Rudy Gobert and Bojan Bogdanovic to make significant contributions to Utah’s cause. However, even if that happens we still think the Nets can cover a double-digit spread. Thus there is solid value on this three-leg parlay.

Nets +11.5 (-114)

Brooklyn star guard James Harden is arguably the best player in the NBA, and he made another statement in that regard during Tuesday’s win over Portland. Harden does not necessarily need Kevin Durant or Kyrie Irving in order for the Nets to compete with any team. We’re not saying that they are going to win this game outright, but they definitely have a chance to make it competitive as long as Harden plays well. The Nets have been one of the best road teams against Western Conference opponents this season, going 8-1 ATS in such situations. Meanwhile, the Jazz have come back down to Earth (4-4 SU, 2-6 ATS in their last eight outings).

Rudy Gobert to score 20+ points (+235)

Regardless of who is on the floor, Brooklyn plays little defense. This team is especially bad at defending the paint, ranking fifth-to-last in the NBA in that department (50.0 paint points allowed per game). That means Gobert should be in line for a big game. He is coming off a 21-point performance against Chicago on Monday, so his confidence on that end of the floor won’t be lacking.

Bojan Bogdanovic to make 3+ three-pointers (+134)

The Nets used to be decent at defending the three-point line, but they have struggled of late. Over the past three games, head coach Steve Nash’s squad has allowed the fourth-most threes in the NBA and the fourth-best three-point percentage to opponents. In Utah’s last two home games, Bogdanovic is 7-for-14 from the land of plenty.
