The NBA playoffs continue on Tuesday with a pair of games on the schedule, one in the Eastern Conference and one in the West. Although underdogs, the Atlanta Hawks won Game 1 at the Philadelphia 76ers and will be trying to take a commanding 2-0 lead in that conference semifinal series. Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Clippers and Utah Jazz are getting things started in their Western Conference showdown. But for now, let’s take a look at the best same game parlay option for Hawks-76ers, and be sure to also check out our full game preview for picks on the side and total.

Philadelphia 76ers -6 (-108)

Seth Curry Over 2.5 three-pointers made (-104)

Joel Embiid Under 30.5 points (-116)

Trae Young Over 9.5 assists (-110)

Parlay odds: +1257

Part of the value in same game parlays, of course, is that all of its components can be correlated if you so choose. That is only some of the plan here, as a big performance by Seth Curry would obviously go a long way toward a Philadelphia win and cover. At the same time, plays that aren’t correlated drive up the overall payout of the parlay. That is the case with tipping Trae Young to reach the double-digit mark in assists while betting the under on Joel Embiid’s points. But even if those things happen, there is no reason why the 76ers can’t get the job done.

Philadelphia 76ers -6 (-108)

Philadelphia dropped Game 1 by a 128-124 margin, but the East’s top seed does have some momentum after almost making a miracle comeback in the second half. The 76ers came up short, but their late-game effort is one reason to think that the tide will soon turn in their favor. Atlanta drained 20 three-pointers on 47 percent attempts on Sunday, far better than their 37.3 percentage from long range during the regular season. You can’t expect the visitors to be so hot again in Game 2. It should also be noted than De’Andre Hunter is questionable again after missing the opener. The Sixers’ injury situation is better. Embiid played in Game 1 and looked good, logging 38 minutes and scoring 39 points on a 12-for-21 shooting. If Embiid once again stays on the floor for a full game, the home team should get revenge—and likely in convincing fashion.

Seth Curry Over 2.5 three-pointers made (-104)

Curry tried to keep his team in the game by going 5-for-9 from three-point land in Sunday’s opener. In three of the five contests during Philly’s first-round series with Washington, Curry drained three triples. In 11 of the last 13 games dating back to the regular season, the former Duke sharpshooter has sunk multiple threes. Asking him to hit at least three on Tuesday isn’t unreasonable at all. In fact, don’t be surprised if he gets to four or five again.

Seth Curry of the Philadelphia 76ers

Joel Embiid Under 30.5 points (-116)

Part of the reason for Curry’s expected success is that the Hawks will surely be focusing their attention on Embiid. The star big man basically couldn’t be stopped in Game 1, and Atlanta—specifically Clint Capela and John Collins—will be eager to change that. There are other ways Embiid could stay under the 30-mark, too. Even though Sunday’s tilt went well for him from an individual standpoint, it’s hard to think he is 100 percent with his partially torn meniscus. If the Sixers build a substantial lead, head coach Doc Rivers may try to limit Embiid’s minutes.

Trae Young Over 9.5 assists (-110)

Just as the Hawks will try to make someone other than Embiid beat them, the 76ers are going to treat Young the same way. Young forked up 23 shots and scored 35 points on Sunday, but still managed to dish out 10 assists. Look for Atlanta to get more offensively from the likes of Capela, Lou Williams, and Danilo Gallinari than it did in Game 1. That may lead to fewer points but more assists for Young.
