I cashed two same game parlays last week, both involving the New York Knicks. Now let’s go right back to the New York well and hope the good fortune can continue with the Brooklyn Nets. They are hosting the Sacramento Kings as another NBA week tips off on Monday night. It’s a showdown between two relatively new-look teams. Here is a look at the best same game parlay option for Kings vs Nets, and also be sure to check out our full game preview for picks on the side and total.

Kings -2.5 (-108)

Domantas Sabonis Over 18.5 points (-110)

Seth Curry to make 4+ three-pointers (+280)

Parlay odds: +1207

Part of the value in same game parlays, of course, is that all of its components can be correlated if you so choose. That is some of the plan here, as Domantas Sabonis scoring his fair share of points would obviously go well with a Sacramento win and cover. At the same time, plays that aren’t correlated drive up the overall payout of the parlay. That is the case with backing Brooklyn newcomer Seth Curry to sink a whole host of 3-pointers. But even if Curry does, there is no reason why the Kings can’t get the job done. Let’s break down each of the three legs one by one.

Kings -2.5 (-108)

The Nets are on a ridiculous 11-game losing streak, during which they are taking Ls by an average of 12.3 points. No other team in the entire NBA has lost more than 7 in a row. James Harden is gone, Ben Simmons isn’t ready to play yet, Kevin Durant is hurt, and Kyrie Irving is sidelined because Monday’s game is at home. Irving has been pretty much doing it all for this struggling squad of late, so his absence from this one could be crippling. Meanwhile, the Kings are 2-0 since acquiring Sabonis, Jeremy Lamb, and Justin Holiday. Donte DiVincenzo, Josh Jackson, and Trey Lyles also suited up in Saturday’s victory over Washington. These teams are going in opposite directions at the moment and that trend should continue.

Domantas Sabonis Over 18.5 points (-110)

Unsurprisingly, Sabonis has made an instant impact with Sacramento to the tune of averaging 19.0 points, 12.5 rebounds, and 6.0 assists through 2 games. Both of those were sizable beatdowns, too, so he didn’t have to log a ton of minutes. The left-hander from Lithuania also scored at least 20 points in 3 of his last 4 contests with Indiana. Now he faces a Brooklyn team that is shorthanded and also bad at defending the paint. Over their last 3 outings the Nets have allowed 54.0 ppg in the paint—the seventh-most in the NBA during this stretch.

Seth Curry to make 4+ three-pointers (+280)

Sabonis is far from the only guy in this particularly game on a new team. Curry was part of the Harden-Simmons deal, so this will be his first appearance for the Nets. It’s a favorable matchup for the former Duke sharpshooter, because Sacramento is the seventh-worst team in the league this season in terms of opponents’ 3-point percentage (fifth-worst over the last 3 games). The Kings have given up 17 threes per game over their last 3. With Durant (knee) and Joe Harris (ankle) on the shelf, Curry could play almost the entire game and he will have to supply basically all of Brooklyn’s 3-point shooting.
