I have cashed two consecutive NBA same game parlays, one north of +900 and another at longer than +800 odds. Both involved the New York Knicks. Therefore it makes sense to go right back to the well as New York continues its Western Conference road trip on Thursday. This time around the Knicks are paying a visit to the Golden State Warriors. Can I keep the momentum and deliver another SGP winner? That sure is the plan, at least!

Let’s take a look at the best same game parlay option for Knicks vs Warriors, and also be sure to check out our full game preview for picks on the side and total.

Golden State Warriors -9.5 (-106)

Aaron Gordon over 1.5 three-pointers made (+138)

Julius Randle to score 25+ points (+130)

Parlay odds: +1068

Part of the value in same game parlays, of course, is that all of its components can be correlated if you so choose. That is some of the plan here, as Stephen Curry draining his fair share of three-pointers would obviously go well with a Golden State win and cover. At the same time, plays that aren’t correlated drive up the overall payout of the parlay. That is the case with backing New York forward Julius Randle to pour in at least 25 points. But even if Randle does, there is no reason why the Warriors can’t get the job done. Let’s break down each of the three legs one by one.

Golden State Warriors -9.5 (-106)

The Warriors had a 9-game winning streak snapped by Utah on Wednesday, but during that streak they were defeating their opponents by an average margin of 10.3 points. Klay Thompson and Jordan Poole have each led the team in scoring twice in the last 5 games, and Poole has continued to take strides in his development by averaging 15.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 4.2 assists in his last 5 games.

The Knicks are coming off a 132-115 road loss at Denver on Tuesday and have fallen to 7-12 since the start of the new year. Not only are the Knicks 1-8 on the road in 2022, but they have lost by an average margin of 12.9 points in those games. They are playing in the 4th game of a 5-game Western Conference road trip and their 4th game in 6 days. Tired legs — and the fact that New York is simply the far inferior team — will probably result in a double-digit loss.

Stephen Curry over 3.5 three-pointers made (-148)

This has to be considered a relatively safe play. Curry averaged 6 three-pointers on 14 attempts in 2 games against New York last season. In the first head-to-head matchup of the 2021-22 campaign, the former Davidson standout went 5-for-14 from the land of plenty. In other words, he hasn’t even shot it that great and has still soared past this quota with ease. Curry has drained at least 4 treys in 4 of the last 6 contests heading into this one – including 2 performances with at least 6.

Julius Randle to score 25+ points (+230)

It hasn’t been the best season on or off the court for Randle, but he is actually playing good basketball at the moment. He has scored at least 17 points in 11 of the last 13 outings. The former Kentucky standout went for 32 in his team’s overtime setback against the Lakers, going 11-of-22 from the floor and 8-of-10 from the free-throw line. He added 30 points on Monday against Utah and 28 at Denver on Tuesday.

Randle may not be happy, but he is armed with some confidence right now.  It should also be noted that Golden State’s interior defense has been far worse with Draymond Green sidelined and Green is out through the all-star break. Randle was a part of my 2 previous SGP winners, so I’m going right back to the well.
