After stuffing our stomachs with turkeys and filling our need for sports with the NFL Thanksgiving slate, we are back on the hardwood today for a loaded slate of NBA In-Season Tournament action. With groups on the line, there is a lot at stake tonight. These are my 2 favorite NBA player prop bets for Friday, November 24.
Also make sure you also read our NBA picks for tonight’s matchups.
Reggie Jackson, PG, DEN Over 2.5 rebounds (+110)

This is going to be a weird sweat but one that shouldn’t be a plus-money buy. Since Reggie Jackson has been made the Nuggets starting point guard in place of the injured Jamal Murray, he has cleared this line in 4 of his 8 games. A closer look shows that two of the “unders” were in blowouts where Jackson sat the fourth quarter. Overall as a starter, Jackson averages 2.6 rebounds per 32 minutes — which I believe will be his floor in this high-stakes in-season tournament game where the Nuggets must win to stay in contention for the group.
The Rockets are also a solid matchup; they rank 13th in 3-point attempts per game and therefore allow a lot of long rebounds, which is how Jackson enters the board column. His 9.4-foot rebound distance is a reason he picked up a season-high 4 rebounds on 7 rebound chances in just 28 minutes when these teams last met a couple of weeks ago.
Mike Conley, PG, MIN to record 6+ assists (+110)
Line available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing. Recommended 1u wager.
The Kings and Timberwolves will play in what could be the most fascinating game of the night, as both teams are 2-0 in group play for the In-Season Tournament. It’s all about minutes for Mike Conley. On the season he has averaged 5.6 assists on a team-leading 9.0 potential assists per 30 minutes and now he faces a Sacramento Kings team that has allowed the 10th-most assists per game over the last 7 games.
With a close spread and high stakes, barring foul trouble, Conley should be a shoo-in for 30 minutes as Minnesota’s floor general. He has logged 31 minutes in each of the Timberwolves’ first two in-season tournament games. As such, my projection for him tonight is more than 6 assists — making it great value to ask him to get 6 at plus money.
