Like most Lithuanians, I started watching basketball from the age of six. I'm based out in London and played basketball at the University of Lincoln here in the UK. I had always had an interest in the NBA but things really took off in the summer of 2010. That year Linas Kleiza led Lithuania to 3rd place at the World Championships and signed with the Toronto Raptors to replace the departing Chris Bosh. I've been a Raptors fan since that day and I've not missed a game since. I've been handicapping games for more than a decade, specializing in player props. Game 2 of this thrilling NBA series tips off tonight as the Los Angeles Lakers look to avenge their Game 1 loss. The Suns certainly looked worthy of the second seed during the first matchup and Devin Booker had an impressive introduction to the playoff stage, dropping a 34-point effort. It is now time for LeBron James to step up and respond, and I for one cannot wait to see it. We have put together a same game parlay for tonight’s game, while you can also find our picks on the side and total for each of tonight’s games.

Los Angeles Lakers -2 (-110)

Over 210 (-112)

Dennis Schroder 15+ points (+130)

Deandre Ayton 12 + rebounds (+110)

Parlay odds: +1613

Los Angeles Lakers -2 (-110)

The Lakers should come out firing tonight as being down two games would leave them in a position with little room for error. Chris Paul looks to play tonight but he is banged up so this could be the perfect game for the Lakers to pounce and steal one on the road. Look for LeBron and Anthony Davis to come out with a renewed energy on offense that should resonate through the team and see them improve on their measly 90 points in Game 1. The pair combined for just 31 points, but considering the level of offensive talent they possess, that looks unlikely to repeat itself. Devin Booker is an offensive force but he did not have much help outside of Deandre Ayton on offense, with just two other players barely reaching double-figure points. That should not be enough for them to secure the win tonight.

Over 210 points (-112)

The under cashed with ease in Game 1 of the series as neither team managed to reach the 100-point mark. That has dropped the total quite a bit in reaction, but perhaps a little too much. Both of these teams were strong on defense during the regular season and the oddsmakers always drop the total in the playoffs after an under. L.A. never got their offense untracked and did not shoot the ball well in Game 1. Expect them to respond well to that poor performance. It would be surprising to see another game where neither team hits the century mark. Take the over.

Dennis Schroder 15+ points (+130)

Dennis Schroder should look to be aggressive tonight and go at Paul who could still be bothered by the shoulder injury he sustained in Game 1. He has been averaging 15 points per game this season and in two matchups so far against the Suns he has managed totals of 14 and 22. As mentioned earlier, look for the scoring in tonight’s game to increase, with both teams probably hitting triple-digit points. If that happens to be the case today, you can expect an increase in Schroders numbers.

Deandre Ayton 12+ rebounds (+110)

Deandre Ayton was an absolute beast in Game 1 and was able to dominate both ends of the floor, causing plenty of issues for the Lakers. He grabbed 16 boards in that game, with eight coming on the offensive end of the floor. To keep him off the offensive glass, Andre Drummond could see longer minutes against him tonight, having managed just 19 in the first game. Drummond is not someone that will pull Ayton away from the paint, so whilst he could do a better job of keeping him off the offensive glass, he should see an uptick in his defensive rebound numbers as he no longer needs to step out to Davis. With Chris Paul shaken up, Ayton may need to step up once more tonight, and he looks set to do just that.
