Brooklyn Nets ML (+166)
Chicago Bulls ML (+430)
Parlay odds: +1309
Let’s break down each of the legs one by one.
Brooklyn Nets ML (+166) over Boston Celtics
To start this mega parlay off we have the Nets on the money line. Boston has been arguably the best team in the league in the second half, but that’s because the Nets didn’t have Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving on the floor together. When they are, Brooklyn’s offense is virtually unstoppable. The Cavs found that out the hard way in the play-in tournament, when Irving somehow only put up 34 points on only 15 shots. In his last regular-season game, Irving shot 15-for-20 from the field.
Good luck guarding him. Robert Williams has also been a huge part of the Celtics’ success in 2021-22 and he won’t be available for this series after tearing his meniscus late in the season. His absence is really going to be felt. The last time the Celtics played a contender at full-strength, they lost at home to the Heat and only scored 98 points. If Irving and Durant had been playing together the whole season, I don’t think they would be underdogs in this game.
Chicago Bulls ML (+430) over Milwaukee Bucks
Getting better than 4/1 with the Bulls here is just too good to pass up to punctuate this mega parlay. Chicago didn’t play its best ball down the stretch, but this is still a team that started off 39-21 for a reason. I think this line has gotten inflated a bit because these teams just played each other recently and the Bucks won by 21. But the Bulls didn’t have Zach LaVine for that one, and obviously he’s a huge part of their offense. While it hurts not to have Lonzo Ball, Chicago did just recently get back Patrick Williams — who will be an X-factor.
Williams got hurt all the way back in October and the Bulls started to ease him in at the end of the regular season. He really began to heat up in the final week, and dropped 35 points in the team’s regular season finale. People aren’t properly factoring in the impact he could have when talking about the Bulls’ chances. Seemingly everyone has written them off, but Chicago isn’t going down without a fight.
