It’s a massive Game 5 tonight between the Milwaukee Bucks and Boston Celtics as the 2 teams lock horns at TD Garden with the series being tied at 2-2. Tip-off is at 7:00 pm ET on TNT and I’ve prepared a same game parlay which you can find below.
We also have predictions on the side and total for Game 5 of the Golden State Warriors vs Memphis Grizzlies series, so don’t forget to check those out.
Let’s dive in!
Boston Celtics 1-10 win margin (+170)
Jaylen Brown over 2.5 made threes (-130)
Giannis Antetokounmpo to score 35+ points (+164)
Parlay odds: +982
Boston Celtics 1-10 win margin (+170)
Winning Game 4 was huge for the Celtics as they regained home-court advantage and now look to take the lead in the series with another win. Despite the heroic efforts of Giannis so far in this series, the Bucks don’t have any other offensive threats to challenge this tough Boston defense, so I’m really liking Boston’s chances to take Game 5 in front of the home fans.
The loss of Khris Middleton was eventually going to catch up to the Bucks offense and it might finally be starting to set in, and it’ll be tough for Giannis to keep carrying the Bucks to victory, especially in hostile environments like Boston when the series gets much more intense and physical. The last 2 games were decided by just 2 and 8 points, and I expect more of the same tonight as the Celtics edge out the Bucks.

Jaylen Brown over 2.5 made threes (-130)
Brown is averaging exactly 3 makes from three-point land in this series and so far in both games played in Boston he went over 2.5. He didn’t have the best of games in Game 4, but that’s okay as Al Horford stepped up with 30 points. Boston cannot rely on the 35-year-old to carry them this late in the postseason though, so I’m expecting a lot more from Brown and Tatum in tonight’s game. Jaylen already has a 30-point game in this series, which he put up in Game 2 played at the TD Garden.
The Celtics are shooting threes at a historic clip so far in this series — if their approach doesn’t change tonight Brown should get his standard 7 three-point attempts per game and he should be able to drain at least 3 of them. If we include the postseason and regular season, he has now scored at least 3 threes in 9 of 13 games against the Bucks.
Giannis Antetokounmpo to score 35+ points (+164)
After watching that Game 4 performance by the Bucks, it’s pretty obvious that Giannis will have to beat the Celtics by himself. He is getting very little help on offense as none of his role players are consistently scoring the basketball. Jrue Holiday, who is the 2nd scoring option on the team, had 16 points on a woeful 5-for-22 effort in Game 4 which shows how much work Giannis has to put in for his team to be competitive in the series.
Antetokounmpo had 34 points on Monday in what wasn’t the most efficient of games. If he is able to hit a three and clean up his free throws a bit, Giannis should be able to eclipse the point total he had in Game 4. Boston’s defense has been incredible in these playoffs, but in the last 2 games Giannis has now had 42 and 34 points, plus for the series he is averaging 32 which is almost 4 points more than the previous series against Chicago. His play will only elevate as the Bucks advance further in these playoffs, so expect dominant performance tonight.
