The Dallas Mavericks cannot afford to go down 3-0 in their series against the Phoenix Suns as the teams meet in Game 3 at American Airline Center tonight. Tip-off is set for 9:30 pm ET on ESPN. I’ve prepared a same game parlay which is available below
We also have predictions on the side and total for Game 3 of the Miami Heat vs Philadelphia 76ers series, so don’t forget to check them out later.
Let’s get into it!
Deandre Ayton to score 25+ points (+340)
Spencer Dinwiddie to score 15+ points (+230)
Parlay odds: +1410
Deandre Ayton to score 25+ points (+340)
Feeding the big man has been a productive strategy so far in these playoffs for the Suns and Deandre Ayton is averaging 19.6 points in 8 games played. I expect that number to go up on the road tonight, similar to what happened in Game 1 of this series when he dropped 25 on the Mavs on 60% shooting from the field. Head coach Monty Williams didn’t use Ayton that much in Game 2 as he played only 18 minutes, but with the series now shifting to Dallas I think we’ll see a much slower pace over the next 2 games and that is Ayton’s chance to dominate. As a center it’s hard for him to keep up when the game is being played fast, but with the lack of size the Mavs have on the inside it’s a perfect scenario for him for another big performance.

Spencer Dinwiddie to score 15+ points (+230)
Together with Jalen Brunson and Maxi Kleber, Spencer Dinwiddie is one of the role players the Mavs will need to step up for them if they want to have any chance of winning Game 3. Luka Doncic went off for 45 and 35 points in the first 2 games, but that hasn’t given the results the Mavs hoped for as they lost by 7 and 20 points. Dinwiddie is averaging 13.9 points per game in 8 postseason games. Against the Jazz he scored 15 or more in 4 of the 6 games and against Phoenix over the last 6 meetings in the playoffs and regular season he is averaging 13.1 per game. One area of his game that’s really improved lately has been 3-point shooting. He is on a streak of 4 games in a row (and 5 of the last 6) in which he scored at least 2 of them. Out of 16 teams that made it into the playoffs, the Suns rank only 12th in opponent 3-point percentage, allowing 37.4% made shots per game, so hopefully that is something Dinwiddie can take advantage of.
