We’ve got a very exciting Western Conference Matchup here as the Los Angeles Lakers host the Golden State Warriors. LeBron James vs. Steph Curry. Incredibly, these two superstars haven’t played each other in a real game since Christmas of 2018 due to various injuries.

What better way to make this nationally televised showdown even more entertaining than by betting a same game parlay? We’ve also got thoughts on the side and total, which you can find out in our full game preview. If you’re new to same game parlays and want to find out more, be sure to check out our handy guide, which details how they work and which sportsbooks currently offer them.

Los Angeles Lakers -8.5 (-114)

Anthony Davis over 24.5 points (-110)

Stephen Curry over 28.5 points (-110)

Under 225 (-110)

Parlay odds: +1968

We’ve got a four-leg one for you here, which pays out at just under 20/1 with FanDuel Sportsbook. By combining the prop overs with the full-game under we get a huge odds boost, when I certainly don’t think we need a shootout to get there. Let’s break it down:

Los Angeles Lakers -8.5 (-114)

The Lakers have been absolutely on fire recently, winning nine of their last ten games. They’ve been truly dominant over the past week, winning each of their last four games by at least 17 points, and limiting opponents to no more than 102 in all those. As such, I don’t think they’ll have too much difficulty covering this number. They got off to a very slow start against the Pelicans in their last game, but quickly woke up and rallied for an easy win. With this being a nationally televised game that they’ll have no trouble getting up for, you don’t have to worry about a sleepy start. Golden Sate is coming off back to back losses to the Pacers and Nuggets, and I just don’t think they have enough offense outside of Curry.

Anthony Davis over 24.5 points (-110)

Davis has been a bit quiet recently, failing to top 19 points in three straight games, and I think Los Angeles will make getting him going early a priority here. The matchup in this game is very appealing for Davis, as the Warriors have struggled to contain opposing big men recently. They gave up a triple double to Nikola Jokic in their most recent game, and allowed Myles Turner to score 22 the game before that. Turner is barely averaging over 12 points per game on the year, and if he can put up 22 I think we’re going to see a Davis explosion here.

Stephen Curry over 28.5 points (-110)

I’m also expecting a big game from Curry, as he will surely be looking to make a statement here in one of his most highly anticipated stages since returning from the injury that ruined his whole 2019-20 season. It’s been a long time since he was squaring off with James regularly, and I expect him to come out on fire and look to put on a show. He was scorching hot in his most recent game, dropping 35 points while making five threes, so I think he’ll be able to carry over that momentum here. He always seems to show out in these big spots, and he’ll have a chip on his shoulder here to prove he’s still got it.

Under 225 (-110)

We get a big odds boost from throwing this one in, when I really don’t think we need that much of a shootout to cash those props. Curry dropped 35 in his last game where the Warriors only scored 104 as a team, so it’s not like him having a big night is always conducive to Golden State playing great offense as a whole. Over their past two games, the Warriors have only scored 199 total points, an average of less than 100 per. The Lakers have had the best defense in the Western Conference in terms of points allowed per game this season, only giving up 104.4. Curry’s supporting cast has already been a big disappointment, and I don’t see them doing much here. Los Angeles has given up 102 points or fewer in four straight games, so I see this one ending something like 115-100.
