Let’s dive into my SGP bet now!
Phoenix Suns -1.5 (-112)
Grayson Allen Over 1.5 made threes (-160)
Stephen Curry 30+ points (+120)
Same Game Parlay odds: +533
Phoenix Suns -1.5 (-112)
The Suns are looking to win a 4th game in a row, they have been on fire lately beating the Wizards, Bucks and Jazz by an average of 16.6 points per game. Bradley Beal and Devin Booker have provided Kevin Durant with a ton of support lately, but also Jusuf Nurkic who is averaging 17.2 points and 10.2 rebounds per game over his last 5. Phoenix is 6-1 ATS in the last 7 meetings and has 7 wins in the last 8 games against the Warriors.
Stephen Curry and the Warriors are slowly recovering from everything that has happened to them over the past several weeks. They just capped off a 5-game road trip with an impressive 21-point win over the Indiana Pacers. However, having not played a home game in almost 2 weeks could be an issue. We just saw this happen to the Los Angeles Clippers earlier this week when they lost to the Pelicans in their first home game following a 7-game trip. Golden State could also be without Klay Thompson, as he is battling an illness. In the end I think the Suns just overmatch the Warriors with their talent. Even if Golden State can shut down KD, either Booker of Beal can still have a huge scoring game. I’m backing the road favorites to cover.

Grayson Allen Over 1.5 made threes (-160)
Grayson Allen is one of the more important role players in the NBA. He is putting in work on a nightly basis, averaging over 30 minutes per game in every month of the season so far. Having teammates like Durant, Beal and Booker means that his shot opportunities will be limited, but that also means he will have the widest open looks in the NBA out of any player. This has resulted in him shooting 56.6% from downtown in January; so far in February that’s slightly down but at a still impressive 43%. He has cleared this line in 2 straight games and in 18 of his last 24, so I think we have a big enough sample size to trust him to get the job done. Golden State isn’t exactly an elite defensive team in home games when it comes to 3-pointers — opponents are making 36.7% of attempts against them, that ranks them in the middle of the pack in the NBA. Look for Allen to drain at least 2 threes.
Stephen Curry to 30+ points (+120)
What Stephen Curry is doing right now is nothing short of remarkable. Even at the tender age of 35, he is still getting it done on offense and is single-handedly dragging this Warriors team into the play-in tournament. We just saw him explode for 42 points in the win over Indiana, draining 11 threes on 16 attempts. Just 4 games ago he went for 60 in a loss to Atlanta, the Warriors will need every point out of him in order to stay competitive in tonight’s game. There’s also a chance that Klay Thompson might not be available to play due to illness, that’s a loss of about 20 points that the Warriors have to come up with somehow. Curry’s highest-scoring output in the 3 games against the Suns this season came at Chase Center, where he had 27 despite shooting just 28% from 3 in that game. Let’s hope he has a big scoring night…but in a losing effort.
