It’s a quick turnaround for the Phoenix Suns, who are playing their 2nd game in less than 24 hours as they take on the Charlotte Hornets.  Tipoff is at 7:00 pm ET and this will be the 2nd and final meeting of the regular season between the 2 teams. I have prepared a Suns vs Hornets Same Game Parlay to mark the occasion.

Phoenix Suns -9 over Charlotte Hornets (-110)

There’s no shame in losing to the Boston Celtics. Phoenix put up a solid fight last night, but in the end it came up short 127-112. Today is a new day, though, and the Suns look to recover against a much easier opponent in Charlott. The first meeting of the season was played back in late December, with the Suns coming out on top 133-119. They have been the better team in this matchup for quite some time now, with 8 wins in the last 10 meetings.

The Suns are also on a 6-game win streak against Charlotte and they have covered the spread in 4 of the last 5, as well. Eric Gordon will be the most notable absentee, but with the likes of Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal all scoring 20+ points last night, I think the Suns have enough star power to take care of a struggling Hornets team. Jusuf Nurkic also deserves praise for his rebounding; he grabbed 20 of them in last night’s loss at Boston. I have the Suns covering in the form of a double-digit victory.

We have a pick in Suns vs Hornets as part of our NBA mega parlay tonight at +1139 odds

Miles Bridges to score 25+ points (+165)

With 2 wins in their last 3 games, the Hornets have woken up from hibernation a bit — but that’s not going to have a significant impact on their season, sadly. What could have a significant impact on Miles Bridges next contract is his recent form. The 25-year old is averaging 21.1 points per game in his last 10 outings on 45% shooting. He has been on a nice run over his last 4 games, averaging 26.8 per game by scoring at least 24 in all 4 games. He has shot over 50% in 3 of those 4 games, as well, so the Suns could have their hands full trying to contain him. With not much left to play for, the more points Bridges puts up in the remaining 15 games the bigger chance he has at signing a massive contract as a free agent this season. Scoring 25+ points against a team like the Suns would be huge for him.

Vasilije Micic 1+ made threes (-360)

More often than not we have seen players have breakout season simply because their minutes have gone up. That has been the case with Vasilije Micic, who is averaging 31.3 minutes per game in March compared to just 18.5 minutes in February. He has more than doubled his scoring from 6.1 points per game to 15.4 this month, notching double-figures in every single game. He just had high highest-scoring output of the season in the win over Memphis, making 9 of 10 field-goal attempts and going 5-for-6 from 3-point land for a total of 25 points. His efficiency from downtown has also improved by almost 15% compared to the previous month. He is at 1.6 triples made per game in March. Phoenix has been average at best when it comes to defending the perimeter; teams are averaging 40.7% against the Suns from downtown in their last 3 games, so I think Micic should be able to drain at least 1 from deep.
