The Philadelphia 76ers find themselves in grave danger of going down 2-0 against the New York Knicks as the two teams resume their Eastern Conference first-round series. The Knicks ran away with it 111-104 on Saturday, but can they replicate that performance tonight? Tipoff is at 7:30 pm ET on ESPN and I have pieced together a 76ers vs Knicks Same Game Parlay at +520 odds.
We also have individual NBA picks of the postseason, but for now let’s get into this SGP.

Over 207.5 (-110)
The 76ers and Knicks cashed on the over fairly easily in Game 1 despite their best players Joel Embiid and Jalen Brunson, respectively, combining to go just 16-for-48 from the field. Neither team shot the ball all that well, but they were both aggressive and relentless all night long in attacking the basket — which resulted in 50 free throws taken combined.
That was the 5th time the 76ers went over the total in their last 6 games overall and the 7th time in 8 games against Eastern Conference opponents. Although the Knicks are the slowest paced team in the NBA, you wouldn’t know it if you watched their last 6 games; the over has cashed in all 6 of them. With a bounce-back performance from Brunson on the cards and both teams really going for the win in Game 2, I think backing the over is a solid bet.

Josh Hart to record 10+ rebounds (-220)
I have said this many times before, but Josh Hart really is the heart and soul of this Knicks team. He has more than made up for the absence of Julius Randle, especially on the boards — where he upped his average from 5.7 rebounds per game in January to 11.9 in March. When the Knicks needed him the most, he has stepped up and responded. I think he will continue doing so for the foreseeable future. New York out-rebounded Philly 55 to 33 in the series opener; that was to be expected with a limping Joel Embiid playing 37 minutes. I don’t expect things to drastically change for Game 2. Hart always plays at the same speed and effort, so getting 10 boards shouldn’t be too difficult for him.
Joel Embiid Under 28.5 points (+100)
Despite all the regular season dominance and the MVP award, Joel Embiid has vastly underperformed in the postseason so far in his career. I was actually shocked to see that he’s shooting just 42.3% from the field in his last 10 games in the playoffs, and only once in those 10 games he was able to shoot over 50%. For a big man who scores most of his baskets from very close range, that is very concerning. Add to that his constant knee issues and him reaggravating the injury that limited him to just 39 games this season, I think this bet makes a lot of sense. Embiid shot just 8-for-22 and 2-for-8 on Saturday and is a game-time decision to play Monday night. I think the Sixers would be wise to go with someone else to carry them on offense.
