Let’s dive in!
Chicago Bulls ML (+118)
Zach LaVine over 2.5 made threes (+100)
Tyrese Maxey to score 25+ points (+310)
Parlay odds: +1693
Chicago Bulls ML (+118)
This might be Chicago’s best chance to end what has been a brutal run against the Philadelphia 76ers. The Bulls have lost the last 11 meetings over the span of the last 3 seasons by an average of 12.2 points per game. That all could end tonight for the simple reason that Joel Embiid might not play. After missing last night’s game in Toronto, the big man is a game-time decision. Chicago hasn’t had an answer for him, he is averaging 29.5 points per game in 11 career games against the Bulls and he’s scored 40+ on them in back-to-back meetings. The Bulls are 2-1 at home on the season, and the loss at San Antonio should come as a wake-up call for a team hungry for success against conference rivals and the 76ers are certainly one of those teams. Other than Lonzo Ball being out, Chicago should be at full strength and it’s time for them to finally get the monkey off their back.
Zach LaVine over 2.5 made threes (+100)
In order for that streak to end, Zach LaVine will have to have one of his signature scoring games. He’s opened the season playing really well, and so far in 3 games he is averaging 23.3 points per game, but more importantly his 3-point shot is falling at a really high 57.9% success rate. He is making 3.7 of them per game and his main matchup on defense will be James Harden, who isn’t really known for his defensive skills, to put it lightly. LaVine has had some really consistent performance against Philadelphia over the years. In his last 10 against them he is averaging 27.9 points per game and shooting the 3-ball at almost 34% while making exactly 2.5 threes per contest. Opponents have been dropping threes on the 76ers a lot early on this season – they rank just 22nd in the NBA allowing 13 threes per game which is what teams like Orlando and Houston are allowing. Expect LaVine to go off.

Tyrese Maxey to score 25+ points (+310)
Tyrese Maxey is coming off a 44-point explosion in the 76ers’ win over the Toronto Raptors last night. We haven’t seen a performance like that from a 76ers point guard since the days of Allen Iverson dominating the game almost two decades ago. The 21-year old took full advantage of the absence of Joel Embiid and scored on 15 of 20 shots from the field and went 9-for-12 from 3-point land. He clearly likes playing the Raptors, and in the game prior to last night he dropped 31 on them. With the possibility of Embiid sitting another game tonight (he is a game-time decision), there’s good value in backing Maxey to carry the scoring load once again for Philly. The Bulls’ primary focus will be to slow down James Harden, which should leave a ton of space for Maxey to go under the radar a bit. He’s had 16 and 17 points in his last 2 games vs Chicago, look for him to up that to at least 25 tonight.
