It feels good to be back. The new NBA season officially got underway last week, and we have another nice slate on Monday. What better way to celebrate the start of the new week than by going for a big payday? That’s right, we’re back with another mega parlay, NBA edition. We’re going big and bold again, so let’s not waste any more time. But before we dive in, don’t forget to check out our free picks on the side and total for every NBA game.
Boston Celtics ML (-112)
Toronto Raptors ML (+126)
Cleveland Cavaliers ML (+420)
Parlay odds: +2124
Let’s break down each of the three legs one by one.
Boston Celtics ML (-112) over Charlotte Hornets
I’m rolling with Boston to start off this mega parlay. The Hornets are an exciting team and they’re fun to watch, but let’s pump the brakes a bit. I’m not ready to get all aboard the hype train just yet. They beat Brooklyn, but the Nets just don’t look very good right now and have a lot to figure out.
It took a miraculous second-half comeback for them to beat the Pacers by a single point. The Celtics are 1-2, but their first loss came in double overtime on the road against a tough Knicks team in New York’s home opener. Then they dropped their next game to Toronto because they were exhausted. In their most recent game they took care of business with a double-digit road win over Houston, and they should be able to score at will against this porous Charlotte defense.
Toronto Raptors ML (+126) over Chicago Bulls
Getting the Raptors as a home dog here is a steal. Sure, the Bulls are 3-0, but let’s not get carried away. They’ve beaten the Pistons twice and the Pelicans. That’s pretty much the softest schedule to open a season that you could imagine. It’s not like Chicago has even played all that well, they actually scored 97 points or fewer in each of their two wins against Detroit. The Raptors, on the other hand, have had a very tough schedule to open the year, and I don’t hold it against them for losing to the Mavericks their last time out.
They beat Boston by 32 on the road. Scottie Barnes looks like the real deal, as the rookie fourth overall pick is averaging 18 and 10 to start his pro career. The Bulls have so many new pieces, and I expect their chemistry issues to be exposed here with the step up in competition.

Cleveland Cavaliers ML (+420) over Denver Nuggets
To give us the odds to truly make this a mega parlay, we’ve got the Cavaliers on the money line. I think this Cleveland squad is underrated, and they’re clearly capable of hanging with superior teams. In their most recent game, they upset Trae Young and the Hawks. In their opener, they took the Grizzlies down to the wire on the road. Ricky Rubio has been fantastic, and rookie big man Evan Mobley is showing a ton of promise.
With those guys and Collin Sexton, Jarrett Allen, Lauri Markkanen, Isaac Okoro, Kevin Love and Darius Garland (questionable here) there’s a lot more talent on this team than most people realize. They’re high variance, which is exactly what we’re looking for when taking a money line this steep. Denver didn’t look particularly impressive at home against the Spurs in their most recent game, almost letting San Antonio pull off the big money-line upset.
