March Madness is pretty much here, but don’t forget that the NBA also has plenty to offer when it comes to basketball’s best month of the year. The professional circuit’s regular season is approaching the home stretch, with plenty of intriguing battles for playoff positioning in progress. We are tipping off another week in the association with an 8-game schedule, including a showdown on NBA TV between the Warriors and Nuggets.
Let’s take a look at today’s three-team mega parlay.
Hawks -7.5 (-110)
Timberwolves -19.5 alternate spread (+175)
Jazz ML (+110)
Parlay odds: +1003
For this parlay we are going with two favorites– one on an alternate spread – and one underdog straight up. Let’s break down each of the three legs one by one.
Hawks -7.5 over Pistons (-110)
The Hawks have won 2 in a row and now find themselves firmly involved in the play-in picture. Up against them tonight is a Detroit team that has been inconsistent. The Pistons have beaten the Raptors and Cavaliers recently, only to go on and lose to the Wizards. Detroit has also struggled at home this season, with just 10 wins in 31 games. The Hawks were dominant when the teams last met, pickup up a 122-104 win. They should match up well against the Pistons again. On the inside Clint Capela is a bigger and better version of Isaiah Stewart. Trae Young also provides the Hawks with much more at the point-guard position. He has recorded double-digit assists in 8 of his last 12 games, with the Pistons lacking anyone with that sort of consistency. The Hawks possess superior shooters, too, ranking 9th in 3-pointers made per game over the last 10. Back Atlanta to pick up a big win.

Timberwolves -19.5 alternate spread over Trail Blazers (+175)
This will be the second meeting in between these 2 teams and the first one was also in Minnesota. On Saturday the Timberwolves disposed of the Trail Blazers 135-121. Anfernee Simons scored 38 points for the Blazers and they still lost by 14. That doesn’t bode well for the rematch, especially considering the fact that Simons isn’t even playing tonight. Josh Hart is back, but you can’t figure he will make up for 38 points that are going down the drain. Patrick Beverly could be back for the T-Wolves, which would only add to Portland’s potential offensive woes. In the paint, the visitors may continue having issues dealing with Karl-Anthony Towns. KAT managed a 36-point and 15-rebound performance this past weekend. The Timberwolves outscored the Trail Blazers by 16 in the paint and should be able to dominate that area of the court once more. Portland has lost its last 4 games by 37, 32, 30, and 14, so there is no reason to think this rematch will be within a 20-point margin.

Jazz ML over Mavericks (+110)
The Jazz continue their Texas road trip in Texas as they head to Dallas after beating Houston last night. Both teams come into this game playing great basketball, as the Jazz have won 4 of their past 5 games while the Mavericks have won 4 straight – including an impressive comeback win over the Kings on Friday without Luka Doncic. The status of Doncic will be important to monitor leading up to this game, and it will be interesting to see if he plays on a minutes restriction or is affected by the toe injury with which he is dealing. Even if he suits up, Utah boasts the weapons necessary to sneak out with a win. Led by Donovan Mitchell, this team has been playing very well and this stretch includes a recent 5-point victory over the Mavs in Utah. Rudy Gobert is a huge reason for that success since he has come back from injury, as his game-changing presence on the interior has boosted this team on both ends of the floor. Back the visitors on the money line.
